"Do your best for me,ok?..''Gaara asked of her,giving her a soft kiss on the cheek.

"..When's your birthday?..when you turn 7 I'll teach you as a present!"Naruto asked.

 

Hatsumi sighed, disappointed. "But I can do it now! I'm ready!"

Hinata smiled. Sounds familiar.

Satoshi lowered her eyes. "I've been hearing this voice in my head.... And I had this dream just now... Except, I don't think it was a dream... I-" She paused for a moment. "I talked with the Gobi."

 

Gaara was a little surprised with the situation,but he understood."..Naruto is able to do that as well..did you know?''he asked.

"But dont you want to look forward to something on your birthday?''Naruto asked.

 

Satoshi shook her head, starting to tremble. "It said that Orochimaru isn't dead... That it was just a replacement."

"Well," Hatsumi thought for a moment. "Fine."

 

Naruto rubbed her head gently."Your sister can join in too..''

Gaara looked down in dissapointment,he was hoping that she and Naruto had don it,but he should have expected those results."..How many replacements does he have?''he exclaimed to himself angrily.

 

Satoshi bit her lip. "I'm sorry. We should have known..."

Hatsumi nodded. "I'll beat her anyway!"

Hinata smothered a laugh.

 

Naruto laughed."I dont know..the innocent one's usually have greater potential than they realize..''Naruto then looked up at Hinata and winked.

"Dont apologize..''Gaara said,recovering from his anger and standing up."If you want to talk about communicating with your demon..then you may go to Konoha and speak to Naruto-kun..''

 

Hinata smiled. "Hatsumi, I'm sure you're sister will be good competition."

Hatsumi shrugged. "Either way, I'm gonna beat her!"

Satoshi stood, going to Gaara. "I'd rather be with you." She said softly. "If you don't mind."

 

"Your just like me!you dont want anyone to beat you in anything!"Naruto said,then he quickly shuddered."And if Michiko is anything like your mom..''Naruto has a flashback of being punched by Sakura."Her temper is just as deadly.''

Gaara looked at her in surprise,then nodded quickly,showing he understood."..Right.''he said,wrapping his arms around her waist and holding her close.

 

"She doesn't do anything though." Hatusmi said.

Satoshi held on to Gaara, feeling comforted by his embrace. "I'd miss you too much if I went." She shut her eyes. I wouldn't want to leave you to do something I'm afraid of. She added to herself.

"When she's older...''Naruto pointed out,afraid of a next generation Sakura!

Gaara gave her another soft kiss on the cheek."Heh,how did you think I felt?,being left alone while you went out and had fun?''he asked

"I'd hardly call it fun." Satoshi cracked a smile. "It would have been better with you."

Hatsumi folded her arms. "I'll just have to get extra good now so that she won't pass me."

 

Naruto smiled and stood back up."That's the spirit!"
"..How so?''Gaara asked silently.

 

Hatsumi grinned. "So can we go?" She asked hopefully.

Satoshi's smile grew and she blushed. "Everything is better with you."

 

Naruto shrugged."Fine..''
Gaara released her and left the room without a word.

 

Hatusmi jumped up and down. "YES!!"

Satoshi lowered her eyes. He's complicated sometimes...

 

"Where were we going again?..''Naruto asked

 

"Tree climbing!" Hatsumi smiled.
