Naruto quickly got up and moved Hinata out of the room,shutting the door behind them.

 

Michiko went to stand by Hatsumi. "What does he mean?"

"I need to leave..for a very long time..and you may not see me again until your teenager's..''Sasuke explained silently,clenching his fists."..Tell your mother im sorry,and be there for her..this isnt the first time I've had to leave..she might break down like last time..''Sasuke kneeled down and opened his arms,wanting one last hug from his kids

BIC: "Why so long?" Michiko asked, going to Sasuke.

Hatsumi walker over, not saying anything.

 

"..I need time away from all of this..and..I havent been the greatest father in the world to you..im sorry..''Sasuke mumbled silently,then brought both girls into a tight embrace.

Naruto and Hinata were eavesdropping at the door.

 

I wonder where he's going. Hinata thought.

"Stay." Hatsumi said.

 

"..I cant..I'll be back though..your mother will protect you..''Sasuke said,knowing from the start that Hatsumi would argue.

 

Hatsumi backed up and shook her head. "I don't want you to go."

 

"I have to Hatsumi..Michiko understands..why cant you?"Sasuke asked.

 

"Because I'm smarter." Hatsumi argued. "I'll go with you."

Michiko was trying not to cry.

Sasuke could feel Michiko's body trembling and he rubbed her back."You cant..that's final..just promise you'll get stronger for daddy while he's away...''he said sadly.

 

"I'm gonna have to get stronger to be Hokage!" Hatsumi said and smiled.

Michiko couldn't hold back anymore and started sobbing.

"shh..its ok..''Sasuke said in Michiko's head,hugging her tighter."..There's one person in your way..Naruto..now come give daddy a hug before he goes''

 

"I'll let him go first." Hatsumi said.

Michiko bit her lip in an effort to stop crying.

 

Sasuke put his arm down."..No hug then?''he asked Hatsumi.

 

Hatsumi lowered her eyes. She wrapped her arms as far around Sasuke as she could manage, trying her best not to cry.

Sasukehugged them as if he'd never be able to again."..I love you both..so much..''he muttered,then dissapeared from their arms and was nowhere to be seen.

"Sasuke!"Naruto shouted,bursting into the room,but he was already gone.

 

Michiko was on her knees, still crying.

Hatsumi stood, her eyes tearing up. She still tried not to cry.

Naruto kneeled down and rubbed Michiko's back and put a hand on Hatsumi's shoulder."He'll be back...come on,let's get you home''he said softly.
