Bring Sasuke back!

Hinata shook her head. "You are not."

 

"..Well you told the truth...he's been gone for a year..''Sasuke said,he looked down at Hatsumi"...you ok now?''he asked

Naruto gritted his teeth"Why does everyone think im harmless?...Im still dangerous even though im calm right now''he said.

 

Hatsumi nodded. She didn't really understand what had happened or where that courage had come from.

Michiko jumped from Sasuke's hold and sat next to Hatsumi. The two girls looked at each other, not needing to speak to understand what they wanted to say to each other. Michiko hugged Hatsumi and patted her back.

"I know you're not harmless, Naruto-kun...." Hinata wrapped her arms around Naruto. I just know that I love you...

 

"...Then you'll understand if I avoid you and leave again...wont you?''Naruto asked,letting her hug him.

Sasuke smiled and sat down next to Sakura"..You two need to look out for each other when your older...me and mommy wont always be there..''he said truthfully.though as long as he could breath,he'd protect them.

 

The two looked at Sasuke. "Why not?" Michiko asked. "Are you going to leave us?"

Sakura scooted over to them. "That's not it. It's just that sometimes we'll have to go places and you won't be able to come along."

Hinata bit her lip. "Don't leave me again... It was awful without you..."

 

Sasuke nodded"..or..we'll die during a mission..''he said plainly.

Naruto felt himself tearing up"...Im destined to die alone Hinata...There's no way I can get rid of the Kyuubi unless I hand myself over to Akatsuki''he said,his voice croaked.

 

'But you're the best!" Hatsumi protested.

Michiko nodded in agreement.

Sakura couldn't help but smile.

Hinata held Naruto tighter. "You don't have to be alone... I told you before and I'll say it again: I wont' leave you.""

 

"..Yes you will..you have to let me go..''Naruto said silently.

"..Even the best can die..''Sasuke said to the girls.

Michiko shook her head. "Nuh uh."

Hatsumi looked at the floor. She understood that Sakura and Sasuke couldn't always be there for them.

"I can't.... How can you give up so easily?" Hinata tried to keep herself from crying.

"Hinata I cant change my fate!"Naruto shouted,already accepting this a long time ago,his cheerful self seems to have left him,he was now more mature about the situation and was accepting the facts of life.

Sasuke looked at Michiko dully and pulled out a kunai from a holster on his leg,he twirled it around for a moment and then put it to his neck"...So..I cant die right now?''he asked again

 

"So you agree with Neji-kun..." Hinata said more than asked.

Sakura stood. "Stop it. They're only kids. Let them think this way while they can." She said firmly.

 

Sasuke sighed and put the kunai back in the holster"..I want them to know early...rather then not being prepared for it at all''

"This isnt about strength Hinata..it's about survival in my case...the seal is gone...im still disliked by more than enough people...and''Naruto gulped and looked down to the ground"...Becoming Hokage isnt on my mind much anymore''

 

"The Naruto-kun I love would never say something like that." Hinata felt tears start to fall down her cheeks.

"They will be. They're going to the academy and they'll learn there." Sakura said. "Right now, let them have their dreams."

 

"..Hinata..things change..if only you knew how I felt..''Naruto said silently.

"..Remember the first time Squad 7 went against Kakashi-sensei?...when you saw that genjutsu of me dying with kunai lodged all over my body..did you or did you not pass out?''Sasuke asked.

 

"Why don't you tell me how you feel then?" Hinata let go of Naruto and backed up a step.

Sakura folded her arms. "I doubt that they'll be on the team with their crush."

 

Sasuke winced and turned to both girls"No boys until your 21"he said firmly.he didnt want them to become like Sakura in her early years,drooling over good looking guys and being completely useless in missions.

Naruto took a deep breath"..The Kyuubi is slowly gaining control..if I stay here..he might want revenge on the village and try to destroy it again,I dont want to leave you..but I dont want to see you die either..''he said,

 

Both girls looked at each other. "Boys?" Michiko laughed.

"Boys are gross." Hatsumi said, looking at Sasuke. "Except for you."

Sakura smiled. That's what they say now.

Kiba and Rukia stopped just outside the Uchiha district.

"I had a lot of fun." Rukia smiled. "And thanks for paying."

Kiba blushed. "It was nothing. I'm glad you had a good time." Akamaru wagged his tail and barked.

"And it was nice to see you too, Akamaru." Rukia patted his head. "I'll see you tomorrow, Kiba-kun." She kissed Kiba on the cheek and happily ran to Sasuke's house.

"What do you think of me?" Hinata asked.

 

"..Hopefully you didnt inherit your mother's obsession with them..''Sasuke said and laughed out loud.

".. Your My everything..''Naruto said,nothing was more important to him than Hinata.
