once i read the whole thread, i started laughing...."the opposite sex understanding?"

well, i'm not really sure about the whole clique thing....i mean, where i go, we do have them...but not as marked.

so , i'm not sure what would happen really.

but, i do know, that girls and boys do act differently sometimes, but in the end(at least in my class) i can talk to anyone and not get yelled at, or looked at strangely.

 

girls are like that too actually. boys are cocky for the same reasons girls are cocky, i think that reason is being conceited?

 

well i cant explain such matters in writing but most us boys have similar thoughts of girls that if you looked for youed see aswell only less prominant

id also like to add that yes i have noticed that we are dying out but 1 big reason is actually woman you see as time progresses women decide us men are not treating them equal and lets face it i've puled a chair out for a friend of mine and they through a fit about me being sexist then theres always the scum that is porn poisening the mings of younger boys.

Guys are very complicated, but they are also very simple too.
But everyone has flaws, guys could talk about all girl's problems, but sometimes you just have to see things how people are and deal with it.

Well we're a judgmental bunch. We're no different than girls in that I can argue those points for girls just as easy as you can for guys.

But to answer your question, it is because when we're teenagers we separate like that simply because we want to and we're bored.

 

I think it's because we get different vibes from each groups. Like if I walked over to the nerds, I would be quiet the whole time, and stare. But if I was with the punks/rockers, I would talk some. Preps, don't even get me started. I dislike that bunch of snobby people. :\

 

Well being a guy, it's much easier to hang around with folk i relate to.

EXACTLY. You go to who-ever that you get along with. I would do the same, but I have no one in my New Pre-Algebra Class. It was changed today. T^T

Course lately my group has kinda been 2nd in my list of people i look to when i first arrive somewhere, since i started going out with a girl, makes life funner y'know.

Do you have any idea how nerve wreckingly terrifying it is to ask a girl out when she's surrounded by her cult? It's one of the most horrfying things a guy has to do, I was lucky enough to be able to pull mine away from hers for 5 minutes, but I know some have suffered.

the problems you have with guys we have the same things with girls.

 

Girls can be just as mean as guys. And guys hang out in groups because that's just who they get along with. But a lot of the time, if a guy gets a girl, regardless of how the guy looks, then most of the girl's friends/other girls that act like her, will fall for that guy. I went out with an emo girl...and now suddenly most of the emo girls say hi to me all the time and stare at me in class (happy-hot-emo-chicks rule). I mean really, look at it, when a guy goes out with one girl, out of no where, he'll start going out with a lot more. I'm just saying that's how it worked out for me.

 

That's just the way boys are...

 

That is how it is. I went out with a guy, and he ended falling for my other friend. I was crushed. And when I dated another guy, everyone else had to get a boyfriend when I did. When you put yourself out there, you get more then you wanted. Seriously.
