I can answer this part, the reason is sometimes the ones you call d*ckheads are not d*ckheads in another persons view, the nerds may not be nerdy to others and the sweet guys can be total tw@ts too others. I have experience with all three stereotypes, I was seen as a nerd by people who are thicker than me, I was seen as a nice guy by people who I helpped and/or was nice to and I was seen as a d*ckhead by the popular group because I treated them as they treated others (harsh but nessisary).

Anywho there be my personal reason of why us males split into groups (usually mixed with girls aswell XD)

Another question for the guys, lol, why is it that some guys flirt constantly with like every girl?

While I was going out with this one guy (biggest mistake ever) I never got over my shyness around him, at least not until we had broken up, but I really think that that was a mistake on my part.

 

I guess it's because alot of us feel confident
about our appearances.......maybe, some of us
also have the feeling that the girls like us back.

Some of us are cocky because some girls like boys that are cocky, they find it "sexy" i guess.
Some of us are sweet because they want a girl that will be sweet right back to them and that they know wont cheat on them or anything.
God Made -some- of us handsome :'P not our fault.

We split into groups because some of us can't stand the other group. Like i'm in the Just random normal people group cause i hate the guys that are ****s to girls, i can't stand the guys that are nerds and frankly need a bit of a life, and the sweet ones are the only ones that i really actually like to hang out with because they aren't trying to show off to everyone all the time.
