Bloody Nightmare

Balmore Manor Seth's Room~~

Rin wanted to smile, but her facial muscles didn't respond the way she wanted them to. Instead, her face was kept straight. Tears continued to fall down her cheeks, her eyes breaking contact with his. "I'm not going to let go of how I feel," She muttered.

 

Balmore Manor - Seth's room

Seth wiped at her tears, he didn't want this. None of this was right. "Then I'll have to put my trust in you that you won't give us away to the humans. Even if you left me...even saying you love me...I would still visit you. In your dreams we'd be together and in the waking world I would be around to protect you." Cradling her chin in one hand, Seth glanced down and back up, glancing towards the far wall with an embarrassed smile on his lips. "Seems Mirabelle works even more silently than I remember," he said, mentioning the gossamer white night gown on Rin instead of her clothes from the day.

 

Balmore Manor Seth's Room~~

Rin's smile began to grow, but only slightly. She enjoyed the thought of Seth trusting her a bit more. "I'll never leave you behind," She promised him in a thankful voice. "You brought me more happiness than I had experienced in my entire life. For you, I'll do anything you request." The tears began to slow in production as her cheeks began to dry. With her eyes adjusting to the darkness, she could almost see the color of his beautiful eyes.

 

Balmore Manor - Seth's room

Seth rolled off Rin, deciding by now she must not be able to feel her toes and picked at the fabric of the nightgown Mirabelle had chosen to put on Rin's slight form. "She's a devil...." He ran a hand along the fabric at her stomach, smoothing the silk to her skin. "Humans create such awful things...like this nightgown...what on earth were they thinking?"

 

Balmore Manor Seth's Room~~

Rin smiled, clinging onto Seth's side. She looked down at what she was wearing. In her own mind, what she was presenting wasn't too impressive. Her smile had become radiant again. "I know, it's an evil little thing, isn't it. Maybe I should just take it off." Rin gave him a cat-like smile, teasingly taking off one of the straps and allowing it to fall to the side. "Or maybe I should just go back to sleep."

 

~north woods: trail
Serena walked over to nick, who was trying so hard to succeed on his own. "please, let me help." she slung the gun over her shoulder and put her hands on his back and pushed. "you can't push yourself. Not like this." serena noticed annie coming towards them. "hey, are you feeling better?" annie nodded and wobbled towards them. "yeah a little. It's still swollen, but it doesn't hurt so much anymore." she held out her hand towards them.

~road to church
Ceril spoke a small prayer before exiting the church. She originally planned on heading home, but decided to head towards the bookstore in town.

 

North Woods - Trail

Nick hauled himself back onto the trail and panted, his tongue lolling out of his mouth. He sniffed at Annie's ankle and phased back, perhaps a bit too close to Annie. He straightened, towering over her and when he moved to prod his wounds, he brushed against her. "Stupid Vampires....always scratching..." his fingers roved over a long gash on his side. His shoulder looked like a bloody mess. A scratch on his cheek quickly closed up, leaving a red line where it used to be.

Balmore Manor - Seth's room

Seth huffed, pulling the strap back up. "Do you mind? Vampire trying to keep his head straight here." Though he said that, he smiled and lifted the nightgown from the bottom upwards.

 

~north woods: trail
Annie's eyes scanned nick's body, checking out all the cuts. She watched the cut on his cheek heal and felt the swelling in her ankle decrease. "we should get back." she turned back towards the direction of the cabin and started limping home. this can't keep happening... she let out a deep sigh as she weaved inbetween the trees.

~road to luin
Ceril walked cautiously down the street, with a psycho pureblood and damphir lurking about, town wasn't the safest right now. She could see the lights coming from all the houses and always thought it looked rather beautiful. They all twinkled in the night's darkness. Bright and beautiful.

 

North Woods - Trail

Nick followed, holding his hand to a bleeding gash on his side. Along the way, he picked up his clothes and slid them on, trying to keep them away from the blood. Hopping painfully into the cargo shorts, Nick tucked the shirt under his arm away from the blood dripping from between his fingers. "I hate to be a burden on you two...so I'll sleep outside tonight, to keep all the blood away from your new home."

 

Balmore Manor Seth's Room~~

Rin giggled when she noticed him lifting her dress. It was probably due to her exhaustion, but she was losing sense of her inhibition. She gently hugged him, kissing his cheek. "Like what you see?"

 

~north woods
Serena stopped walking and grabbed nick's less damaged arm. "no you won't. You can have my room. I don't mind a little mess. It gives me something to do later and no guest of ours is sleeping outside. Just because we may turn into animals, doesn't mean we live like one." annie had continued walking serena said something about acting like animals. She stopped and turned about, facing them. "how do you do it? You can change at will."

~luin
Ceril walked through rows of houses before coming to the side of town that the book store was on. She was about to go in when she thought of what happened earlier. There was a girl being tortured by a monster and nobody was going to help her. She pulled her heels off and broke out into a running stride towards the orphanage. She wanted to help, nobody deserved this fate or to be eaten alive. Ceril would help this girl or die trying. Noth of which sounded like positive outcomes.

 

North Woods - Trail

Nick turned his blue eyes on Annie, "That? Oh...it just...comes naturally. My father told me that the older you are the easier it becomes to change at will. I'm not very old but I've stayed in that form for days on end. I guess I'm just more in tune with the wolf in me than the human part." He rolled his shoulder and the wounds on his side stretched and closed a bit more.

Seth touched his forehead to Rin's and brushed along Rin's stomach. "Shhhh....you shouldn't put so much strain on me."

 

~north woods: cabin driveway
"oh. I see. How interesting." annie tried to hide the intrigue from her eyes, but with one look at her sister she knew it hadn't been a good job. Serena crossed her arms angrily, having a pretty good idea as to what her sister was thinking. "let's get inside. I'm sure vickie is panicking. This whole day is quite a lot on an eight-year-old to endure. Nick, once I put the gun away i'll show you where you'll sleep." she marched forward the rest of the distance to the house angrily and unlocked the door. Annie watched her sister go inside and walked over to the prius, pulling her phone out of the backseat. staying in wolf mode for days on end...being able to control iy and know what's going on...how incredible...

~orphanage
Ceril arrived at the orphanage rather quickly since she used her vampire speed to run. She remembeted valentine saying the human was in the basement and quietly circled the building. She had never been to the orphange, so she didn't want to go in unprepared. Ceril figured valentine would probably be inside, but she let out a small prayer that he wasn't. There was no way she could defeat a pureblood, but she would have to try if he was down there. "here goes nothing." she slowly lifted up a window that was cracked open.

 

North Woods: Cabin front steps

NIck shrugged at Annie and Serena's words and curled up on the front step. It would've been more comfortable if he was covered in fur but the risk of still letting his wolf run rampant so close to the full moon was risky and he didn't want to argue with his wolf again. "Time for sleep..." He tucked his head awkwardly under his arm and closed his eyes.

Orphanage - basement

Valentine purred to the black haired girl tied to a chair. "You are absolutely delicious my dear, Lirum. I wish you could stay but Seth refuses to come and acknowledge that you're alive."

Balmore Manor - Seth's room

Seth lightly bit the tip of her nose and purred like a cat.

ooc: Thursday through the weekend I'll be in Chicago so I won't be able to post. I'll be back on Monday. :) See you then.

 

~north woods: cabin
Annie sighed and stepped over nick, walking into the house. she heard serena in the bedroom and headed that way. "don't bother making up the room, he's already asleep outside." she noticed her sister roll her eyes and carry a blanket out of the room. Annie headed back to the kitchen. It was late and annie had yet to eat any food. Her stomach was growling and it was making her body ache. She noticed the fried chicken serena made and heated up a plate in the microwave.
Serena walked outside and placed a blanket atop nick's body. She sighed as she stared down at the injured man. "this has been quite a couple of days..."

~orphanage
Ceril crept down the hallway checking door after door. None seemed to lead to a basement until finally she opened one that had a starewell. Ceril took in a deep breath and quietly stepped down the stairs. She listened closely, hearing faint voices. figures. Couldn't get lucky with him not being here. Well it was fun while it lasted I guess. ceril whispered a prayer, before fully descending down the stairs.

Luin - Cabin

Nick dreamt of his pack he'd left behind in Romania. He hadn't told the girls how he knew them or where he'd come from and it bothered him how similar Luin was to Romania. Seth certainly was just like his mother had described. Keeping things in the old fashioned district and simple. The cabins were a nice touch. He guessed Seth was anticipating werewolves to live in Luin with him. Sitting up, half in his dreamworld and half starting to wake up again, Nick reached out and grabbed Serena around her waist. Nuzzling her, he made sure to leave his scent on her skin. An unconscious guesture, he wouldn't be sure of the reasons why in the morning.

Luin - Orphanage

Valentine tugged on the girl's hair in front of him. "Not falling asleep before your boyfriend comes to save you are you, are we?" She mumbled against the gag and Valentine only chuckled before straightening. "Vampire...but...not Seth? Ceril?" He stood and glanced towards the stairs, waiting to see Ceril's head poke out.

 

Balmore Manor Seth's Room~~

Rin slightly fliched when she felt Seth bit her nose. It didn't feel like her when her throut was cut for blood. As she predicted, the bit wasn't hard enough to draw some blood, although she partially wished she did. Rin was then inspired to do something that she only read in romance novels. She didn't think it had any kind of power, but it was worth a try.

Crawling up Seth, and making sure that parts of her body was easily showcased for Seth, she lightly nibbled onto his ear, whispering "Am I really tempting?"

 

Balmore Manor - Seth's room

Seth rumbled his approval in his throat and smoothed her nightgown along her body. "You truly are, my little kitten." He closed his eyes for a mear second and his imagination conjured up the image of him sinking his fangs into her neck. She was crying...and he didn't even care. All he wanted was the blood pulsing under her delicate skin. The very blood that called to him to drink and drain from her body until she was cold. Snapping his eyes open, Seth touched cold fingers to her legs under her nightgown and pulled her so she was sitting on his hips.

 

~north woods: cabin
Serena jumped from nick's sudden embrace on her waist. She pushed down on his head trying to get him off of her. "nicholas what are you doing? Let go!" serena stood there trying to squirm out of his grip.
Annie stood in the kitchen scarfing down fried chicken and mashed potatoes. She ate the food so quickly it hurt. When she finally decided she was done, she headed to the bathroom. Annie hadn't had a shower since the morning of the day before and after everything that happened she looked like a wreck. Turning on the shower faucet, annie soaked up the steam as she took her hair out of the pony and stripped out of her spandex and sports bra. The water felt refreshing on her skin. It was nice watching the dirt quickly fade from her body as she soaped up. probably the nicest thing to happen all day.

~orphanage: basement
Ceril sighed and stepped out of the darkness of the staircase. "lord valentine. I'm surprised you know my name. We've only met but this afternoon and being a pureblood it's shocking to hear you know the name of a lowly vampire like myself." she didn't really know what to do now. Ceril had hoped so desperately that valentine wouldn't be there that she was quite at a loss. She hoped that talking might help ease the crazed pureblood somewhat.

 

Balmore Manor Seth's Room~~

Rin had to catch her breath, having to follow Seth's quick movements. This was definitely something that was familiar to her; being in this situation in Seth. she flashed him a smile before wrapping her arms around his neck. Sweat was pouring down her body as she started laying a sweet kiss on his lips.
