Black or White?

i chose white version cuz my friend axel-chan is getting black.

and i picked mijumaru as my starter pokemon (i can't remember its english name but i do remember its japanese name lol) - the water type

 

Its English name is Oshawott. =)

I'm gonna pick White because it has more to offer and I feel the natural appearance of Opelucid City and the White Forest blend in better with Unova. I also like how Zekrom fits into your story and how Reshiram fits into N's.

 

I bought Black. (Awesome Fire type) :D I would have bought both but a friend of mine decided they were going to get white so yep.

But yea depends what features you want for whichever game dude.

 

Well, I'm going to wait a little while, considering they'll probably make a third one. (Like Yellow with Red/Blue, Crystal with Gold/Silver, Emerald with Ruby/Sapphire, and Platinum with Diamond/Pearl). But if I had to choose one, I'd probably choose White because Zekrom's awesome.

 

Actually the organization is not so evil... It actually has a point instead of an outlandish "There's not enough land in the world!" idealogy. Team Plazma challenge you the player, because it makes you think how ethical using pokemon to fight is. From their perspective forcing pokemon to battle is like those underground dog fights, or chicken fights. And for the members who actually believe the cause they are fighting for only fight against trainers because they consider it to be the only way to get across to them. They are kinda like animal rights activists who break into testing places and let the animals go. They are doing something that is a bit hypocritical by breaking the law, but they think "If that's what it takes, so be it."

 

I beleive i heard somewhere that they have already got works in for pokemon gray. third installment of 5gen

 

I can't beat the elite four >< My strongest is a 56 Emboar and then a lvl 47 Victini. With a bunch of revives and stuff I can beat 3/4 but the last pokemon the Ghost champion uses (Jellicent water/ghost) owns my fire types so yeah lol no luck. I'm trying to train up my simisage to beat that pokemon but the only place with good xp is the elite four but i'm too broke to buy revives lol. If only I could import my lvl 100 Tyranitar to own them all x.x

I got White version. I'm not interested in the Black legendary.

 

I got Black the first day it came out, chose osowatt, I beat the Elite four twice,(your supposed to beat it again to be the champion)

You fight Ghestis at the end of the game
At the end, you can transfer pokemon from P,D,P,SS,or HG by playing an extremely hard game.

 

After portal 2 comes out and I have the time to start saving up money again, I think I'll buy Pokémon White, just because I like the legendary and the exclusives better than the ones in Black... I dunno, it's a personal thing.

Then again, I might wait until Grey or whatever to come out ...

 

I did this and personally i ONLY did it because Zekrom is epic and looks cooler... XP

 

Finally got around to beating Black (well, the first trip to the Pokemon League), because I didn't get the game until a couple weeks ago for my birthday (and I got both versions, yeah!). I really like the extensive plot added to this expansion. Definitely made the game more enjoyable because you didn't feel like you were simply doing the same catch pokemon and beat the League for the umpteenth time. Can't say I which one I like more as of yet, Black/White, because I haven't gotten completely through Black and I've barely started White. I will say, I think I prefer 3-on-3 battles more than rotation battles. Though I kinda am disappointed in many of the newer pokemon character designs. But still an overall wonderful game(s).

 

If I had the chance to buy one, I'd pick White. I'd miss the past gen's pokemon. XD

 

I see everyone mentioning White Forest, but it has an issue. White Forest has nothing in it unless you play the game wirelessly. You need to use Entralink, which can only be done wirelessly (not online), to get stuff to appear. Everytime you use it, wild grass starts to grow. If you are big on getting your Pokemon to high levels and training, I would go with Black, because Black City has trainers that you can battle everyday. Both games allow you to battle various trainers everyday, but Black has more.

I got both, and I compared the 2 and White came out on top! :D

 

that's not entirely true. yes, you need the entralink to get more people, but that's for both versions. If you don't visit the city and talk to everyone regurally then they leave, and that's both places. I've got the guide, I should know. The most the entralink is good for for those cities is just getting more people to come to yours. You can start off with the most amount of people right away for both, it just depends on how long it takes you to get there from your starting time. And, you can only catch certain pokemon in White because of White Forest, which in my opinion has higher priority than battling a few trainers.

 

I have always been unsure of the difference between Black and White, I assumed they were just different stories or contained different Pokemon but it seems to be a bit more than this. I don't know which to recommend as I have played neither but most of my friends have been playing Black and saying they preferred that one mostly because of what SUPERSMASHDRAKE said about the larger diversity of Pokemon trainers.
