What a completely trivial and down right stupid question to ask, of course they should be allowed to marry, don't make yourself look ignorant by asking such things.

Shouldn't have to, shouldn't have to answer idiotic questions, things like this are the reason why I leave this site all the time.

Guys, this thread was posted in the Spam Zone. It's a critique on how people refer to same-sex marriage as "gay marriage," since bisexual marriage can be same-sex as well. Bisexuals are often left out of the picture in discussions. And just for the record: I'm gay.

Bravo for you, and a homosexual relationship is defined as a relationship between two people of the same sex, so in the eyes of everyone, two people of the same gender being married is a gay marriage, because that's what it is, doesnt matter who they mind crawling into bed with, one of those perks of being bi really, get to be defined as gay and straight depending on who you're doing at the time, its not a discussion because its not really a thing.

Besides it shouldnt matter if you're gay straight or bi, get married as long you love a person, people who oppose this need to get their ass out of the god damn dark ages and grow up to the fact times have changed where homosexuality isnt a crime punishable by death and there should be no reason to fear people knowing.

Until people stop calling it gay marriage, there will always be a difference.

I did. My point was that he referred to it as gay marriage. Regardless of point of view, if you still call it Gay marriage, you're still acknowledging that there is a difference, which there shouldn't be.

....But there is, not all differences are a bad thing, its as black and white as....well black or white, just because it is difference doesnt really mean anything, peanut butter and chocolate spread are different, still spread them on bread all the same.

There is not a difference in my mind.

The "difference" is that two people of the same sex is getting married. It's marriage, it doesn't need a different definition. Chocolate spread and peanut butter is different, because they taste different, they are completely different things. Same goes for black and white, they are two different colors. They "mean" something different, they are different.
Marriage is marriage, regardless of the sex of the people involved.

and marriage and gay marriage are the same thing, regardless of the prefix you put in front of it, so then there's no issue.

I see your point, but why would you need a prefix if its the same?

Diet coke and coke are similar, but different, because of the prefix. Prefixes are there to differentiate minor, but nevertheless important, differences.
