*Disclaimer: If these were not the saddest words of your childhood, then your childhood probably really sucked.

they were not and my childhood was below par. i don't think there's a direct correlation between the two though.

Well either you didn't grow up with Toonami, or you heard words that were sadder. Either way, it is related.

I never saw this ending... It just disappeared for me.

    Even sadder, I think...

I didn't really watch past TOM 3, so :c . I quit watching TV after I moved in '07, so that was probably why. I still remember being kind of freaked out when
    TOM 1 died, though.

The saddest words of my childhood were

-How can I go back? I'm not who I used to be...
-REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE! YOU ARE MY SON AND THE ONE TRUE KING! Remember...
    -No! Dad! Don't leave!
    -Remember...
    -Don't leave me...
    -Remember...

And that cloud! Scared me a lot for some reason, just the round shape of it receeding away.

I don't remember those words at all. I guess this isn't the saddest part of my childhood

If the discontinuation of a television program was the saddest words of your childhood, you probably didn't have many impacting things happen to you as a kid.

Correction: you probably didn't have many impacting things said to you as a kid. No friends or family saying goodbye or anything.

You obviously didn't play Link's Awakening.

Agreed. Silence can be just as depressing.
