So for now I am merely putting this up to see who wants to join. Anyone can join, however those who have already done this will not be getting the rewards, sadly. (But still feel free to join!)

These are the lines for now(1:30-1:50), as I first want to have an idea of who will be joining. The way I thought about it was that someone could sing the lead part(Preferably someone who could sing while maintaining authoritative attitude in their voice). Then towards the end we could all begin to sing together, basically like in the Mulan movie. (2:45)

HOWEVER, if there is more than one person who wants to sing the lead parts, then there can always be back up vocals.

There is about 8 seconds before the music begins, and 25 seconds before the singing starts in which I was hoping to add some dialogue; to sort of bring some life into this music, like as if we were all actually there and awaiting for the harsh instructor to begin drilling us.

Person #1: Hmm?

[Person #1 receives a punch to the arm by Person #2]

Person 1#: [Surprised] Ow!

Person #2: Wake up!

Person #1: [A bit annoyed] Was a punch REALLY necessary, though? [in a low voice] Oow…

Person #2: [Small Chuckle] Eh… Lighten up a little.

[Footsteps]

Person #3: Yeah, you’re going to have to if you want to get through this…

Person# 1 and #2: Huh? Oh hey.

Person #3: Sup.

Person #1: [Sighs] Yeah…I guess you’re right.

[Nearing footsteps]

Person #4: [Gasp before delivering line] Guys the commander’s on the way!

[Everyone (Actors) gasps or delivers a small line in reaction]

[Everyone (Actors) starts shushing everyone/telling everyone to be quiet]

[Footsteps halt]

Commanders Adviser: Atteeeeeention!!

Lead singer: Alright everyone, ready your we-

Person #3: [Murmurs sarcastically] Well, this is going to be fun…

[Lead Singer steps close to Person #3]

Lead singer: I’m sorry, did you say something?

Person #5: [Utter in a whisper] Idiot…

[Insert everyone (Actors) struggle to not laugh out loud]

Person #3: [Pulls himself together] Nnngh, No sir!

[Lead Singer refers to everyone]

Lead Singer: You lot would best do yourselves a favor and get your act together. This isn’t a retreat, this isn’t a vacation… This is Boot Camp. Being sent here means you are all spineless, weak, and the runt of your groups litter. You are here to become soldiers…to be tempered into warriors.

[Walks up to Person #3]

Lead Singer: There is no FUN in this camp. Do I make myself clear?

Person #3: YES SIR!

Lead Singer: Call your weapons!

[Keyblades being summoned]

Lead: Now…

[Lead Singer Starts the verse]

[Everyone (Actors) grunts a battle cry]

I have the sound effects for things like footsteps, punches, keyblades, etc. Just deliver the lines, laughs, shushs, gasps, breathless, etc.

Starting Monday, September 22, 2014, everyone will have 2 weeks to decide what lines they would like to choose, and to record them. Upload them via Box.com and post them here so i can download them with ease(Skype for some reason is slow for me).

 

I'd love to record person #2 if that's alright aaaaaand line 4 too. So we just record those lines and you slot them in with the music?

How does one grunt a battle cry?

 

Oops! Poor choice of a word. I just meant to emit a battle cry in general. Hyaa!! Aha!! Rah!! KKYAA!! or w/e that can be thought of. Just don't use any phrases or a line. It'd be nice to get 2 from each person.
