Battle for Lucaria

she looked at him and then back up at the sky.
"me and ryka. i promised him we would get out of mount owellete, someday. we weren't in the mountains though. we lived near the border of the 'desert of daska.' i promised him we would visit the other side of lucaria eventually and then last night i decided we would finally leave and go. we just left very early this morning. it was always warm by our home so as you can see i was underdressed for walking through the 'abyss of baskal.' it's hard to afford much for clothing when you live by yourself though."

 

Aram looked at Ariana, "I understand how hard it is..." said Aram, he looked at the out striching land, "your lucky..." said Aram.

 

ariana looked at him confused.
"how so?"

 

"you are so independent..." said Aram, "your have a faithful friend beside you...and you..you get to live life the way it should be lived." Aram looked away towards a town off in the distance.

 

ariana looked at him.
"i didn't choose this life. i don't live alone because i want to. i live alone because i have to. i wouldn't even have ryka if i didn't find him out in the desert a few years back. i would be completely alone without him."

 

"I didn't mean it that way...I have no choice but to live alone...I was banned from my hometown soon after my parents died...I was only five..." said Aram his voice trailed off. Why bother telling her my story...every time I tell it...people...people... thought Aram his head began hurting with a quick, and sudden pain. Why...Where did this headache come from? thought Aram he put his head in his hands gripping it slightly.

 

ariana looked up at the sky, staring at the stars.
"i...don't have any parents either. that's why i'm alone. i was seven when my mom was killed in one of the raids. i dad bailed on us when i was little, so i don't remember him at all. i met ryka when i was ten. for three years i lived in that shack by myself. that's a lot to put on a seven-year-old..."
she looked at aram.
"...or a five-year-old."

 

"uh...yeah..." said Aram. he kept his hand on his head. Where...where did this headache...where did it come from? thought Aram agian and agian.

 

ariana stared at him blankly.
"are...are you...okay?"

 

"yeah...i'm...Fine." said Aram closeing his eyes.

 

ariana approached him hesitantly, placing her hands on his shoulders.
"you...don't look fine."

 

"i'm fine..." said Aram, he was still in alot of pain.

 

" i know i haven't been around ANY people for years, but i can tell when someone is in pain. i'll be right back."
ariana hurried inside and reached into the potato sack she had brought which was lying by the bed.
she grabbed a few things out of it and got some water.
ariana hurried back out to aram.
"here, swallow this while drinking some water."

 

Aram swallowed the pills with the water. "fine." said Aram felling dizzy.

 

ariana watched him.
"it'll...make you a little loopy...but it works wonders."

 

"okay..." said Aram he out of no where passed out.

 

ariana ariana hooked her arms under aram's and to drag him into the house.

 

aaram was fully engulfed in pain, Stop it.... thought Aram to himself.

 

ariana drug him inside and propped him up against the bed, unable to lift him onto it.
ryka moved out of the way for them.
she then sat down on the floor across from him.
ariana watched his face as he sat there unconscious.

 

Sweat dripped down his face. Stay away! thought aram, he was being troutered by random people, like he was when he was younger.Stop it...Please...STOP!!! thought Aram as he whinced.
