They aren't total D-bags, I'm sure they will. And I'm sure that if they had anything to do with the movie it wouldn't be pronounced like that.
I bet we'll see Aang as Korra's spirit guide, like Roku was for Aang.

He'll probably still be alive. He'd be 86, and Sozin made it to 116(I think).
EDIT-Nevermind, Sozin made it to 102. Still impressive. And Azulon made it to 95. I'm positive he'll be alive. Maybe he'll be the Iroh of this show!

Sounds like the stay in one place a lot. Interesting. I guess it makes since because she only has air to learn. This'll definitely be a challenge for the creators to write, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

I wonder if it'll reveal anything about Zuko's mother.
Or did I miss that in the original? I remembered Zuko asked Sozin about it in the end, but that's it.

    What caught my eye:
So it looks like there won't be that much world traveling, if any.
Makes me think of X-Men a bit lol

I wonder if energy-bending will play any role at all

No, she's been confirmed to come from the Southern Water Tribe.
Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Sound familiar? It's the cycle.

According to the press release, she's "Passionate, rebellious, and hot-headed". Doesn't sound very Aang-ish.

It said she learned Earth first, though, so idk.

Also, this Korra chick sounds likable. "passionate, rebellious, and hot-headed", eh? I might end up relating to her a bit.

I don't think when they listed the elements they meant to imply any particular order. She must have learned Water first. If she learned Earth first, she would be messing with the cycle. Remember what happened when Aang did that?

Actually it's been confirmed for longer than that, we just didn't have pictures.

Zuko's mum was exiled, I think. It never shows Zuko finding her though or where she actually was. I doubt it'll have much importance in this series though.
And it was Ozai, Sozin was his great granddad if I remember right.

And the elements have to be learned in a specific order so they get the correct disciplines for it, I think.

    Bryke revealed that
A scene in which Zuko meets his mother was storyboarded but never made it to the finale at their request.
    .
So we may see that in Korra.

That would be very interesting. I always wanted Zuko's mother to have some important part in something. Maybe she'll have something to do with the series or end up appearing as an old woman with some sort of advice for Korra.

Anyway, this sounds really great. I just hope they decide to air it on Nickelodeon instead of only Nicktoons Network like I expect they'll do.
