~Attention!~ KH-Vids Rap/Lyric Writing Contest!!

Okay, Ghetto and I agreed that there should be a showdown between all people who can make good lyrics/rap/sing.
For all those haters out there, why are you even looking at this thread anyways?

Okay, so...
Here are the rules:

1. You must NOT steal works from other singers/rappers/bands that make lyrics. Originality is key here guys, you can't just steal for your own gain.
2. Keep swearing to a minimum of at least PG-13, Rated R language can be used at times.
3. Don't cheat and try to take lyrics from a person's work and put them in yours, don't be a copycat. <_<
4. You can use formats of other rappers styles to add to your raps.
5. Don't whine if you can't make it to the finals, be a good sport.


So, Ghetto and I discussed this showdown, and decided it would be best for these rules to apply.
People will get paired up, and will be facing the other pairs in the showdown. People will get an opportunity to vote for the best pairs that are in the showdown. It's all about what the audience thinks. With that said here's how the tag teams are judged.
The pairs will agree who goes first and who goes second in a battle. The first pair going will face another person from a different pair. They will get 3 chances to rap and people will judge. That will continue over and over until the finals.

We understand that not EVERYONE can make the "best" lyrics, so I designed this simple guide about making lyrics:
1. Make sure that your lyrics rhyme and don't get out of tune if people were to read it.
2. Keep it real, don't just try to impress the fans, you also have to make sure you are happy with the work you created.
3. Discuss with your tag team partner if you aren't sure on what you can rap about.

Wait...it's a team up, I thought it was a one on one. Oh well. BTW, I think this rule: 1. Keep your words simple. You don't want someone reading a rap with the word: Photosynthesis in it, or something. You want to use basic terms.
Shouldn't be here since some people can work with words like that.

Anyway, I've been trying to become a underground artist (and all I need is a bloody mic...) and this might be good practice. So, yeah. I'm in.

 

I think I'm in, i just gotta find that song...i wrote one when i was in a "poetic" mood one day.

If this is two on two, then theres always a chance that we get an odd number or people. I suggest we limit the amount of contestants or close entries when we reach like 8 or somehting

There is no due date. It's freestyle, you write it on the spot, right off the top of your head.

As for Pepto, well, even though you hate waiting you still have to, we're going to get more people sooner or later, trust me. We just need to be patient.(Even though it's not what we envy in doing.)
