Attention all white girls...

Yeah, being orange from fake tans is a little... gross.

I used to be really naturally tan but then I stopped going outside. :'D

All the scotts in my family go red... .-.
And when they have fake tan on, it covers their freckles and all of a sudden, after looking like a white sponge one day, they are looking like a smooth brown pebble the next.

 

actually, I like the extremely pale girls better.

 

I work with loads of tanorexics. They look stupid. I didn't have a high opinion on tanned skin beforehand, but now they've put me right off it. They'll come in after spending their lunch hour on a tanning bed, completely orange. ffffffff

Porcelain skin > everything else.

Not to mention, tanning beds and excessive sunbathing ages your skin terribly. I know many people in their 20s who look like they're in their 40s. It's sick, it makes your skin all blotchy and wrinkly.

Actually I guess I've never wanted to get a tan, I have bad experiences in getting really sunburned (when you are a child and by that extrasensitive skin, it WILL suck) and that made me want to stay away from the sun. Sometimes it feels good for the joints when the sun's shining, but not that much for me to get tanned.

And the hairdresser forbid me to ever colour my hair black, she said I would look satanic if I did.

 

I have a natural tan, in winter I go pale ice white...You all think I'm a ghost?! I don't obsess over them & I don't know why people do obsess over them, you'll have a higher risk of skin cancer if you've been burnt like I have & have all those spots. I love the sun, but getting a tan isn't something I obsess over >|

 

I received a sunburn once and my skin was a complete red.

 

Tomato red?? I don't think anyone could ever out-do me with sunburn. No, I'm not proud of it, because know I have a higher risk of getting skin cancer, especially in Australia, where the Ozone Layer decided to create a big hole >|

 

I actually hate getting tanned. That's why I'm so pale. >> When I do end up getting a tan, I'm usually red for a few days then you see the tan. I'm actually the whitest person in my family. XDX

I know someone who tries so hard during the summer to get tanned, except, she doesn't get tanned, she only turns red. XD​

Someone (IRL), I can't remember who, told me that you actually look skinnier if you're tanned. This person made it sound extremely logic while they explained it, but afterwards when thinking about it, I'm not so sure about this statement xD

Scotland makes the naturally tan whiter. I know some Spanish born folk that are fairly pale on the arms, legs etc, but are quite dark below the waist. xD
