You know what would be awesome (and gamebreaking)? Pokemon being able to have up to three different types.

    Watch the chaos unfold...

    Grass/Fire type.

Basically the Burning bush that Moses talks to God through. That would probably be a bit controversial though...

What would its evolution be though? A twig, then a fern, then a tree?

Nothing to do with fire types, but since we're suggesting possible starters now...

Grass/Flying type. A little bird with branches for wings, and leaves for feathers. Seriously, why this idea hasn't been done already is beyond me.

Already exists, doesn't it? Granted it's Torchic's third form, but Blaziken is a fire/fighting.

I should definitely show you guys my sketchbook of Pokemon ideas. Had some real awesome concepts if I do say so myself. Some of my favorites are:

    -Komodo Dragon (Dragon/Poison)
    -Trapdoor Spider (Bug/Ground)
    -Living Suit of Armor (Ghost/Steel)
    -Jalapeno (Grass/Fire)

I think Infernape is a version of the Monkey King myth, but I'm not sure about Emboar.

    x4, x2

    x2, x4, x2

    x2, x2, x2, x2

YOU ARE ALL TERRIBLE AT THIS.

    HERE'S WHAT WE'RE DOING

    FIRE/STEEL WITH LEVITATE.

THAT'S HOW YOU PUT FIRE IN OU, BABY.

As if they need it with Blaziken in Uber and Infernape in OU

Would that still be weak to Water and Fighting?

Except mine is more like a medieval-era suit of armor. Golett and Golurk are Ground/Ghost, while mine (called Polterguard and Gallahaunt) are Ghost/Steel. Resistant to everything but Fire and Ground. Immune to Fighting, Poison, and Normal

2x from Water and Fighting, and with Gravity, 4x from Ground (sucks with Earthquake being so universally teachable). Fire/Dark wouldn't have any 4x weaknesses.

Yes, but Water/Fighting is a much less common type coverage combo than either of those with Rock or Ground, and Fire/Steel is also neutral to Stealth Rock.

Actually, that would be hit neutral by Dark and Ghost. Kind of a moot point though.

Nobody uses Gravity. Fire/Dark is weak to Stealth Rock and can be pounded by Earthquake outright.

    Oh yeah, forgot about those

Yeah, I know :\ a neat move, but useless against...more than half of the meta-game? And I was thinking it could levitate, like a firey demon thing?

And Emboar is based off of Chinese warlords and Zhu Bajie, a pig demon from the Journey to the West.
