I loved that game primarily because of Wakka. He was an awesome character. I love him.

 

Wakka got a lot better after he stopped being a bigot, even though most of his dialogue after that was some form of "I can't believe you kids dragged me into this shit."

Oh, I ragequit that game because I TALKED TO PEOPLE IN AN RPG and because of that I couldn't get Auron's ultimate weapon without beating the Magus Sisters dark aeon. Was no point if I couldn't use Auron anymore.

 

Yeah, but I loved how complete his character was. Of all of the characters, he was the most believable. He was just a likable character in general for me, particular when it came to his life on the island.

 

The biggest highlight of FFX is Blitzball for me. :B Wakka is cool though, defs.

Wakka had a weird voice, which made me not like him. Auron was the only reason I kept playing.

 

Just like happy fireworks, yah? hahaha

Just don't use his ultimate weapon. Or beat the Dark Magus Sisters.

It's weird... X is one of my favorite games in the series, but when people ask me my favorite character, I sort of draw a blank. I like when Kimahri fights Biran and Yenke. I like when Tidus screams out of nowhere. I love when Auron swings through his holographic image. Yuna's declarations to Yunalesca and the Maesters made me adore her. But what really makes the game for me are the NPCs. They're like-able, they're quirky, they transform and change face throughout the game, they reveal their inner struggles, and many of them travel with you. It's so entertaining to see how the world at large reacts to the heroes' actions and their general levels of acceptance all-around. By game's end I actually wanted to save the people.

I got my friend good when he got to the endgame. He'd been avoiding Blitzball because he was bad at it and totally uninterested. Then when he got to Zanarkand, we watched Jecht spill his guts on his life's dream of making his son a star player... and I shouted "AND YOU DIDN'T PLAY BLITZBALL."

 

If Auron's not the strongest character it's a disgrace and not worth it anymore. I would defeat Dark Magus Sisters, but I unfortunately have a life which I don't want to waste on grinding in a mediocre game thank you very much.

 

Wakka was my strongest. He killed Seymour's Omnis form in a single shot. xD

And i thought getting Lulu's ultimate weapon was hard. Dodging 200 lightning bolts in a row was too long and boring.
