"Yeah." he said, putting down his book. "I wanted to wait till you came back."

 

"What for...?" Leah whispered and closed the door behind her.

 

"Well, because I wanted to talk to you." he said.

 

"Oh? About what?" She asked curiously as she walked over and sat on her bed.

 

"Well, hmm. How should I say this?" he said, thinking.

 

"How should you say what...?" Leah asked, starting to get a bit worried.

 

"Well." he said. "You know I really like you, right?"

 

Leah nodded. "Yeah..." She said and smiled.

 

"Well,the thing is." he said, looking down. "I think I'm in love with you."

 

"O-Oh..." Leah said and blushed, looking down.

 

"Yeah." he said, also blushing.

 

Leah stood up, still looking at the ground and blushing. "I..." She wasn't sure exactly how to respond to that.

 

George also stood up and looked at her.

 

Leah simply stood still for a moment, not sure what to do.

 

He took a step towards her. "You aren't upset, are you?" he asked, worried.

 

Leah shook her head. "No, it's just..." She started and stared at the ground. "A vampire and a human... together... It's dangerous..." She whispered, tears forming in her eyes. "I-I'm just..." She stopped, unable to say it.

 

He walked over to her and hugged her. "I don't care if I'm a human and you're a vampire. I still love you." he said. "We'll find a way to make this work."

 

Leah felt the tears slip out of her eyes and fall down h er cheeks. "I-I don't want to lose you..." She whispered. "I don't want to hurt anyone else... I-I'm..." She stopped that sentence short again and hugged him tightly. "I-I'm just..."

Rikku slowly came in looking at her schedual. Jessica also came walking into the building,

"Wow!" Jessica said as she looked at how big the collage was and quickly looked around for her dorm room.

 

He lifted up her head and said "Shh. Don't worry about it. Nothing's going to happen to me."
