An angel's fight.

Heath was in the back of the hall,sitting on a chair,now so drunk he couldnt hold himself up right,he had his arms on his knees crossed with his head on them,he'd been like that for the past five minutes

 

Maya was in the middle of the floor, dancing her heart out, completely sober.

Nick was flirting with some other dark angel girls, not aware of what he was saying as he had gone waay over the drinking limit.

 

Eden had managed to drag Devlin away from the noise and motion. He lay with his head on her lap on the ground, "You shouldn't drink. It makes you a different person."

Devlin sighed and brushed back his hair, "So? I'm not all of who you think I am. You've met my mother."

She laid a cold and on his forhead, "That's exactly why you shouldn't drink."

 

"Heath...? Here drink this.."She handed him a cup of water

"Everything ok?"Daniel asked around

 

Eden pet him until he no longer had a hostile look in his dark brown eyes, "We're fine."

Devlin sighed and pulled on a strand of her hair, "I aways forget how pretty you are." The rest of his words lost in a jumble of senseless sound.

 

"Maybe we should wrap it up here..."

 

Nick heard Daniel and stumbled towards him, "No mate, y'can't end our fun now!" He laughed atrociously before doubling over and fainting.

 

"Yeah....party's deffinatly over..."He said beind to pick Nick up

 

Maya walked over to Daniel, "Aww, can we have another one soo- oh my god, what happened to Nick!?" Maya gasped as she saw Nick unconscious.

 

"He...uh fainted...the heat in here...musta got to him and...I'll talk to Toby about another one..."

 

Maya nodded, "Okay, thanks"

Yuri came over to Maya, and sighed when he saw Nick, "What happened?"

"Heat, supposedly..."

 

"I'll get him to his dorm....or do you wanna-?"he said uncertainly to Yuri

 

"I'll do it" Yuri gruffed, hoisting Nick up over his soldier as if he were luggage, he walked away and out of the gymnasium.

"I hope he doesn't go too hard in him...."

 

"Me too..."he muttered

 

Eden found Gabriel and let him carry Devlin to his room. She sighed softly, "I'm so sorry for the 'heat'. Devlin usually isn't like this. I'll take care of him until he's better."

 

"Let's go Heath..."

 

Eden slapped Devlin lightly until he woke half-way up, "What?" "Come on now, sleepy head. It's time to get you back to your room."

Devlin's head hurt and smoke filled his nose, "I didn't burn down the school did I?" He asked as she helped him back to his room. Eden shook her head and kept quiet.

 

Daniel pulled him to his feet, helping Heath to his room.

 

Eden laid Devlin down on his bed and pulled off his shoes, "I'm always taking care of you." A shadow fell across him and Eden turned quickly.

Sorcha stood behind her, "What have you done to my son? I knew not to trust him with a light angel half-breed. Disgusting."

Eden glared at her, "I'm sorry Mrs. Coran but Devlin needs his rest. You should go." She could feel her heart beating faster in her chest, she was terrified of Sorcha.

 

Rita just happened to pass outside Devlin's room as she was on her way to Nick's, "My, my...is he alright?" she stepped slightly into the room.
