Who thinks 3D movies suck?

 

Eh, it just depends on the movie although in general you're right.

 

No. I hate them.

 

Yeah, they make the actual movie somewhat darker in overall color.

 

I dislike 3D very much.

Some films are just pointless in 3D. When it works it's awesome but otherwise it's silly.

 

This. I have nothing personal against 3D movies. Its just that some movies don't need them (like Toy Story 3). Overall the movie watching experience is the same, so yeah.

 

YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW DA REAL ARTZ OF 3D. JACKASS 3D WAS AMAZINGGGg.

 

This. If done well, it can add to the movie experience positively. How To Train Your Dragon was awesome in 3D, as was A Christmas Carol (the latest one with Jim Carrey). But I don't need to see the Jonas Brothers in 3D, thank you very much. :<

 

3D felt pointless with Jackass. No one wants a flying dildo about to poke them in the eye.

 

Oh gawrsh, I just imagined with 127 Hours would be like in 3D. :C Ewwwww, arm guts.

 

I hate 3D movies. They make my head go loopy.

 

They really are disorienting. I don't like them. I watched a documentary in 3D and I couldn't look at the ground as I walked back to my car.

 

3D is amazing if done right. Look at Avatar. That movie was incredible-I couldn't imagine NOT seeing it in 3D.
Now look at...*shudders* The Last Airbender. Ew.

 

I watched Avatar in both 3D and normally ("2D?") in theatres. I really didn't notice much of a difference. :/

As most people said, it just depends on the movie.
A movie's not going to be horrible just because it's in 3D.
Piranha 3D....that probably didn't need to be in 3D. Especially the half-eaten dick.

 

I'll say. Some movies don't need to be made into 3D. True, Avatar was pretty awsome in 3D but I couldn't tell the difference in 2D anyway. I appreciate a good 3D movie but like LilBueno says, some of them aren't written to be 3D in the first place.

 

To be honest, I didn't notice any 3D in that movie at all... except for the opening bit.

I guess what I hate the most is the extra money they charge to see the movie in 3D. Even if you already have a pair of 3D glasses you still have to pay the higher price... it's just stupid.
