I am surprised more people aren't voting for KH1, I thought that was most people's favourites because it was the original :3

 

I had more fun with Coded after I beat it than Days.

I preferred the experimentation of combat present in Birth By Sleep, and I actually really liked the plot in that game (although I also really liked Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix's plot as well,) along with being able to play as three different characters. I just wish the Disney worlds were nearly as detailed and their plots as relevant as they were in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix.

The only reason to vote for KH1 is nostalgia

 

I always felt like the reason the worlds weren't very relevent in BBS was because the Wayfinder Trio were operating under the same 'Do Not Interfere' rule that Donald and Goofy mentioned at the beginning of KH1.

But whereas Sora and Co took that rule, stomped on it, and threw it out the window, Aqua Terra and Ven actually gave a sh*t and tried not to meddle if they could help it.

 

While the physical combat in KH2 was far better than KH1 I found it the opposite for the magic system. I preferred to be forced to hit enemies to regain magic rather than wait for my magic to come back, though I'm sure that system was used in KH2 so you couldn't spam Curaga like in KH1.[DOUBLEPOST=1393546894][/DOUBLEPOST]

Except I'm sure they meddled everywhere despite not wanting too. Except Ven, he had no instructions or anything, he just did what he wanted.

 

my b. i was looking at it earlier and it said that kh had 52 and bbs had 48. looking at it now it says 12 and 10 so i dont know wtf thats about

I'll admit while Terra is a complete ****** all the time, I largely enjoyed BBS.
The characters were different enough to not feel repetitive, I absolutely LOVED the combat system and I think at least in the Final Mix version there was no blatantly overpowered skill or ability to use like in most KH games, everything was pretty balanced and there was no one set of abilities that you could use throughout the whole game and win everything forever, you had to switch things up.
It's probably my favorite Kingdom Hearts game personally.
