Age of Dragons

OOC: Ooh more character interaction xD

BIC: Mya didn't notice a third person hiding behind her shed as he stepped out and shot Mya in the arm with an arrow. She gasped in pain and slashed at the man. She winced and grabbed her arm. Ow that hurts.

 

Kaden heard the newcomer before he had landed, and glanced him over. Had her helmet not been on, her smirk would be visible to the boy. She recognized the dragon type, and almost laughed. He wasn't a threat to her or Rain. He was also one of the people her employer wanted gone.
"Stand down boy, if you know what's good for you," Kaden said, readying her halberd and moving forward.

 

Mark stood his ground, "not a chance, Hwaje says you're bad news, and I think that two lone riders, no matter how powerful, can't take on three riders, and dragons," he said.

 

John looked around and saw Mark confronting some people. He turned to Sora and said, "Stay here and keep an eye on Chi." He mounted his dragon and told him, "Go up to Mark, Vento. Those guys look like bad news." The dragon snorted and flapped his wings, flying up to Mark and Hwaje's side.

 

Sora nodded looking at chi just lie there motionless eyes closed. Sora wrapped his body around her body creating a circle around her.

 

Mya sighed. I wonder how Mark's doing. He's taking an awfully long time. She brought out Shia and flew towards Mark's area.

 

Mark looked back at John, "or maybe two dragons and riders," he said, and turned back to Kaden and Rain, "but we still have dragons, you don't, at least, not here yet," he said.

Hwaje growled and stepped up to Mark's side, dark one near, but other dragon gone, he telepathicaly communicated to only Mark, John, and Vento.

 

"Haha, you underestimate us, boy. We are both bounty hunters with far more experience in fighting than all of you combined, dragons or not. I did not track you lot down today for a fight," Kaden said, stopping and shifting her stance to ready for an attack, "But if it's a fight you want, I'd be more than happy to give you one. What do you say, Rain?"

 

Rain drew his sword and took his shield into his left hand. He anticipated such an event to happen and had prepared something which would occur if all goes well. He took up a stance with his shield pointed forwards as if he was going to attack with it and had his sword at the back obviously for easier swinging. It was a different stance from his previous skirmish with Kaden.

 

Mya spotted Mark. Hmm who are those people? She jumped off her dragon and landed next to Mark.

 

Mark grinned, "and... back up to three!" he said triumphantly, as he prepared himself for combat.
Hwaje growled, Mya, the humans are bounty hunters, they wish to do something to all of us, he telepathed to Mya alone.

 

"I'd hardly call three young kids against two seasoned hunters a challenge. But I repeat, I'm not here today, I'm here to deliver a message," Kaden said.
"So what will your choice be, kids? Will you test your luck against us, or will you stand down and listen, and live another day?"

 

Mya pushed down Mark's weapon. If you do not wish to hurt us, then what is your message?

 

"It is from our employer," Kaden said, loud enough for all present to hear, "He would like you all dead, preferably soon."
Looking over at Mark, she said, "He also told me to be on the lookout for a Fire dragon rider, who has abandoned his country and sided with the enemy. I'm telling all of you this now to be fair, what's a hunt without the prey knowing it's being chased?"

 

Mark shook his head, "and I'm proud to be one too!" he shouted to Kaden's face, "anyone who supports those tyrants should think twice about what they are doing!"

 

Kaden laughed. "Don't get me wrong, kid. I couldn't care less what happens in this war. Whoever wins, I'll still find people to give me work. I've betrayed plenty of people in my time, you've just happened to betray someone that's paying us a lot."

 

Mya raised her sword. Leave make alone. He chose his own fate. You can't force him to be what you want.

 

Mark facepalmed, "my name isn't Make, it is Mark, M A R K, Got it memorized?" he said in frustration, gesturing to his head with his finger on the word "memorized."

IC: John merely stared at the scene, thinking about any weaknesses he could find in the woman's armor, in case they had to fight. So far, he hadn't found any.
