A week in a haunted house.

Kahlene raised an eyebrow. "If you say so..."

 

Zack noticed Kahlene raise her eyebrow, "you dont believe me?" he asked.

 

"Sure I do, I just wanna see if you really aren't gonna fall asleep half way through the movie."

 

"I swear I wont, will you?" he asked.

 

Kahlene scoffed. "No." She actually wasn't sure whether she would fall asleep or not.

 

"alright, if you get too tired and you want to go sleep, tell me and we can stop the movie and go to bed" he said.

 

She smiled. "Same goes for you." She went back to watching the movie.

 

"alright" zack went back to watching the movie.

 

As the time passed Kahlene jumped a few times throughout the movie when something popped up.

 

Everytime Kahlene jumped Zack would put his arm around Kahlene.

 

So Kahlene wouldn't accidently hurt her boyfriend she held the pillow. Poor pillow was all scrunched up and worn out.

 

Zack noticed the scrunched up pillow Kahlene was holding, "taking your anger out of the pillow?" he asked.

 

Kahlene laughed. "No, I am not. It's the movie getting to me. Good thing I chose the pillow and not your hand, right?"

 

"oh, I am glad you chose the pillow over my hand" he said and chuckled. "my hand says thanks"

 

"Your both welcome." She chuckled again.

Two hours had passed already and the movie was almost over. It was pretty late. Kahlene kept falling asleep and waking up again. That is until she couldn't fight it anymore and fell asleep on Zack's shoulder.

 

Zack looked at Kahlene, to know if she was asleep he gently nudged her with his shoulder, "you still awake?" he asked.

 

Kahlene didn't respond.

 

Zack flipped the movie off and carried Kahlene upstairs and set her down in her bed, then he kissed her on the head and laid down on the floor and fell asleep.

 

About an hour and a half later Kahlene woke up. She checked her clock. It was 3 in the morning. She thought she saw something on the floor. Kahlene saw that it was Zack. Kahlene took her pillow and gently put it under his head. She then took her blanket and laid down next to him.

She smiled then fell asleep again.

 

Zack woke up much later, he realized that there was a pillow under his head and Kahlene was sleeping next to him, Zack sat up and looked at the clock, it read 7:30. Zack laid back down and stayed quiet so Kahlene could sleep.
