A week in a haunted house.

"You okay with chocolate?"She asked as she got the ingredients.

 

"yea, thats my favorite kind!" he said. "Can I help at all?" he asked.

 

"If you want to." Kahlene winked at Zack.

 

"I don't believe in ghosts either." She replied, ignoring Scott. "I just almost want to..." she searched for the right word, "Discover them, y'know?" She added.

 

Zack smiled, "ok, what do I do?" he asked.

 

"Can you pass me the flour?" Kahlene asked as she got the bowl and whisk.

 

"yea, sure" he handed the flour to Kahlene.

 

"Thank you." Kahlene mixed the flour with the other ingredients. "Hey Zack, can you turn the oven on?"

 

"sure thing" he turned the oven on, "what temperature?" he asked.

OOC- brb, gotta eat dinner.

 

"150." Kahlene put the mix on the pan.

OOC: okay :D

 

Zack sets the oven to 150 degrees, "ok, its set" he said.

OOC- ok, NOW I have to go eat, lol, brb

Kahlene put the pan in. "Thanks." She put her arms around Zacks neck and was about to kiss him until she saw a ladybug and ran into the living room.

 

Zack ran after Kahlene, "whats wrong?" he asked after he finally caught up to her.

 

"L-l-l-lady b-bug."

 

Zack looked on his shoulder and noticed the lady-bug, he brushed the lady-bug off his shoulder and walked over and hugged Kahlene, "its ok, its gone now" he said in a soothing voice.

 

Kahlene hugged him back. "You must think i'm pretty pathetic huh?"

 

"no, why would I think that?" he asked.

 

"Cuz I run away everytime I see a small bug." She lowered her head.

 

Zack put two fingers on her chin and lifted her head up, he kissed her, "there isnt anything wrong with that" he said.

 

Kahlene smiled. "It's no wonder I fell for you in the first place. You make me want to be braver."
