A week in a haunted house.

"You'd do that for me?" She asked.

 

Zack smiled, "of course I would" he replyed.

 

She hugged him back. "Thank you."

 

Zack blushed a little bit, "your welcome" Then Zack remembered the girl that was un-consious right before Kahlene ran down the hall, "shoot, I need to go check on that girl" Zack said. "come to my room" he said to Kahlene and he began to walk back to his room.

 

Kahlene followed him. "Is she gonna be alright?"

 

"Yea, I think so," Zack said, "I wanna check on her to be sure though"

 

Kahlene understood and nodded.

 

zack walked into his room, he looked at Nicole, she was asleep. He quietly slipped back out of his room, he turned to Kahlene, "yea, she is fine" Zack assured. "what do you wanna do now?" he asked her.

 

"I don't know, do you have something in mind?" Kahlene asked Zack.

 

"nope" zack leaned against the wall, "Its up to you, I will do whatever you wanna do" he said.

 

Kahlene gave it some thought. "Wanna go to my room and hang out?, like talk about anything."

 

"yea, sure," he said and opened the door for Kahlene. "after you"

 

Kahlene smiled and gave Zack a thank you nod. She went to her bed and layed down. She patted a spot next to her for Zack to sit.

 

Zack smiled and sat next to Kahlene, "what do you wanna talk about?" he asked.

 

"What was your childhood like?"

 

"well, both of my parents died when I was about 7 years old, so I went and lived with my grandpa, but then about 2 years later he died of cancer. Then, at the age of 10 I was sent off to an orphanage, then, about 5 months later I got adopted by another family. and I have lived with them ever sence" Zack explained. "what about you?" he asked Kahlene.

 

"I'm sorry, my parents also died, but when I was 8 in a car crash. My little sister and I went to live with our aunt. Since my little sis had cancer, she spent most of the time in the hospital, I really didn't get to see her much after that. At age 13 I ran away from home and came here and started a new life.

 

"im sorry to hear that your parents died when you were young also" Zack said. "how long has your sister had cancer?" zack asked Kahlene.

 

"Since she was 3 years old. Can I ask you something?"

 

"sure, what do you wanna ask me?" he asked curiously.
