A Scattered Dream

Axel shook his head as if speechless about the whole thing. "I don't really know, but he might have joined with Sora, which is probably why I wouldn't let the guy die." He replied though he his mood was pretty much melchanoly.

 

Xion stopped, then suddenly hugged Axel. "I'm sorry." she said. "I shouldn't have said anything."

 

Wow that was a first. Demyx was used to the put downs, the jeering and it caught him off guard. "Um I don't know. Riku looks like he is going to pass out any minute though. Should we take Kairi captive? What does the boss want us to do?"

 

"I don't know." Larxene shrugged, still smiling. "How bout we take them both captive? That way we can let them go whenever." She looked up at Demyx, a spark in her eyes.

 

"I'm game," he seized Kairi. "You want her or do you want me to capture Riku?" he picked up the human girl in his arms holding her tight so she couldn't get away.

 

Axel accepted the hug as he turned back around. "It is really sad, but it not your fault. You didn't know what was going on. Do you want to know his name?" He asked Xion as he thought of it as great importance. It was making him sad thinking about his other friend, but what other choice did he have. It was brought up as he tried to block it out of his emotions.

 

Larxene grinned, then picked up Riku. Slinging him over her shoulder, she said "Let's go, sexy." She grinned at Demyx and opened a portal to The World That Never Was. She stepped through it, smiling.

"Yeah." Xion looked up at Axel, smiling a little. She didn't want him to be sad, she wanted him to smile again.

 

Axel took a deep breath as he breathed slowly catching the words on the tip of his tongue of the name he had not utterd in a long time. "Roxas...." He stated getting up to stretch his arms by placing them around his back and shook his legs a bit to get the kinks out of them as the rock was very uncomfortable for him in the meantime.

 

Xion thought about it. "Roxas...." she gasped as memories hit her like a train. Roxas training with her, comparing keyblades with her, taking her to meet Axel, Demyx...she held her head in her hands. "Roxas....."

 

Demyx grinned for he liked that comment. He could tell she was in a really good mood. "Thanks," he followed her with Kairi over his arms. Once they were in their own world he followed her down the stairs. "So should we take them to the boss first or put them in the dungeon?" "Regardless the boss needs to know about this."

 

Larxene smiled and dumped Riku in the first cell. "Dungeon. Then we can tell the boss." She smiled at him, then waited for him at the top of the stairs.

 

"Very well," he gentely placed Kairi in another cell of the dungeon and locked the door. Checking the other cell, he made sure that one was locked too. "We should take their weapons away from them. They'll use them to get otherwise," he ran up the stairs, seizing her hand and ran back down with her. "Doesn't she have a keyblade?"

 

Axel nodded his head. Trying really hard not to recall all the memories either they were bad or good. "Yep Roxas. The one who helped me not be alone in the world. Demyx was there for me to, but I taught Roxas how to fight and we then became best friends. I even sacrificed myself to attempt to get him back, but it was all in vain." He lowered his green orbs to the ground regretedly.

 

Larxene laughed, running down the stairs with Demyx. "Yea, guess they do." she walked in, takinig both keyblades, and walked back out, leaning them against the opposite wall. "Ready, now?" she asked, taking his hand again.

Xion wiped at her eyes, watching Axel..."I think...." she stopped. "Axel..I think I made him go to Sora."

 

Axel closed his eyes though he wasn't really sure if he heard her right. That couldn't be right? They were friends why would she do that to him? He had blocked it out of his mind, but he wanted an explanation. So trying to not show anger in his eyes and in his voice he averted his eyes to stare at her contently. "Why?" He simply asked.

 

Xion cringed as though he had hit her. She could feel his anger coursing through him. "He was....tempted to leave, but I didn't know.......He told me..." she closed her eyes "That he and I needed to go see Sora. I showed him where he was, but I ran. He said I needed to find Riku, and Riku would take me to Kairi. I didn't listen, and now he's gone."

 

He let go of her hand for a minute or two. "Yeah. It was a good thing I said something, but I don't think we should leave their weapons in the same place. We should take them to the boss. He'll know what to do with them," he picked them up and gave them to Larxene. "Now let's go," he took her hand again and led her up the stairs. "Boss! We need to speak to you," he let go calling for Xemnas. "I wonder where he went?"

 

Larxene laughed. "I don't know, he sometimes just disappears. Maybe we can set them in his room?" she raised an eyebrow, holding tight to Demyx's hand.

 

"I guess he won't hurt us for that," he opened up a portal and walked into it leading her hand through. He shook with anticipation and a bit of fear since they both were in the boss's bedroom. "Well he is not here," he walked around the room after placing the weapons on his bed. "I wonder if he is hiding anything from us? Do you want to help me look?"

 

Larxene smiled, looking around. "Okay, but if we hear him, we get out of here." she whispered, her adrenaline level shooting to about one thousand.
