I think we named the Crossroads to depict the different kind of "destinies" there could be.

 

Oh yeah, that... I still think Crossroads of Destiny is good enough for me... Mmm... Tacos...

Okay, I've been thinking, what if the letter that is missing is a forgotten path? A forgotten path within the pages of books and journals, etc. I don't know! I'm just tossing ideas around! :P

I saw it, but I thought you meant it was literally FORGOTTEN!

 

What, the letter? Nah, I just think it was a little coaxing item to get Sora and co. to follow Pluto to where he was going. It wasn't missing or a path or anything, it was a little bait in my opinion. Honestly, Sora only gives a sh*t about letters if they're from Riku or the King. Who else would he care to get letters from, TIDUS?!
