A Life to Lead ^_^

Xemnas was confused and wary of the scene that just fell before him. He was busy iniciating the newest member when suddenly a pair of young men fell through a portal. Following behind them was axel dragging a kicking and screaming water wizard. If he thought it would have done anything, he would have raised his eyebrow to show his bafflement

Number eight, what is the meaning of this?

Turning around at the peculiar sight. He imagined that a huge question mark fell on his head. Then he pictured said mark falling on his head and causing bleeding. What was he thinking about again? oh yeah, the somebodies and two nobodies. A flame headed clown was dragging what looked like demyx into a dark corridor. Been there, done that.

 

Cloud fell on his stomach with his sword by his side. Where the hell was he anyway? His heart was beating rapidly as he took in the scenry around him noticing a huge heart that loomed in the sky. Standing up he backed away scarred inside, sweat coming to his forehead as his hands began to shake. What had just happened? He nudged Leon to see if he was conscience.

"I will not do such a thing and..." He was cut off by Axel's immediate action as he watched Cloud and Leon get thrown helplessly into the Corridors of Darkness and then his own arm seized being held with a tight grip as he was being dragged by Axel. "No! No! No! Don't do this Axel!" He screamed while he was in the Corridors of Darkness. The portal emerged revealing that he was now at the Altar of Naught, as he pulled out of Axel's grip and stumbled out nealy falling on Cloud and Leon.

 

Axel heard Xemnas ask him a question as he approached the Superior keeping his eyes on the humans as well. "Well Sir, Demyx left without your permission and now it's up to him to talk. I don't know why he was seeing these two, but he'll explain hopefully and not run away or I'll hunt his @ss down." He added with a smirk.

Leon felt Cloud's nudge as he got himself to his feet, his eyes now wide as he was scarred to death. He kept looking around not knowing what was going on and he gazed at his surroundings and starred at a heart shaped moon.

 

Relieved that Leon was up on his feet, Cloud looked down at the ground feeling foolish for getting Leon into another close encounter with death. No matter what he did, things seemed to backfire and he felt alone like how he witnessed Zack die. Looking at Axel, he narrowed his eyes at him and was not going to be killed without a fight. Cloud observed how the sneaky nobody had tricked his friend and it reminded him of his own expericence in trusting in Sephiroth and then being stabbed in the back by him. He could feel for Demyx knowing what he was feeling right now.

Crushed! He was broken inside believing that he could trust Axel his best friend to keep his secret when now he was being ratted out on and in front of the new recruit Gex and Larxene. He folded his arms, glaring daggers at Axel and swore he would get even with how he treated him. Axel could not longer be trusted. Cloud and Leon had proven the awful truth about the fire wielder. He couldn't even stare at him any more nor could he look upon Larxene as well not wanting to know what she was thinking. Demyx turned his head to discover that Cloud was indeed spotting him as if he could understand his predictament. "How could you? I trusted you and you betrayed me," he muttered under his breath to Axel, his head to the side.

 

OOC: Okay I'm gonna put Roxas where everyone else is, no telling when Kitten's comp will be fixed.

Having taken Xioimara back to her room with Alphonse, Roxas himself was prepared to go to his room until he sensed an unusual amount of people up on the Altar of Naught.Two presences he wasn't familiar with at all.Curious, and having little else to do now, Roxas portaled himself from outside Xioimara's room to the Altar of Naught, just behind Xemnas.He immediately looked to the two newcomers.Cloud was the one who really caught his eye, as the guy looked as if he was a long lost brother of some kind.The one beside him seemed familiar, but he couldn't recall where he had seen him before.

He'd ask what was going on, but he figured he should just watch and pick things up.Oh..and he nearly missed Axel for a moment, which was funny since he was the only one with hair so red.Giving his friend a silent wave of hello, he headed toward him and nodded his head to Cloud and Leoon, silently asking what the deal was.Who were these people?And why did Demyx act so fearful at the moment?

One thing was for sure..today was not a good day to head to the beach. Har Har.

"...All right, you asked for it!Donald!" Sora looked toward his small friend and pulled a small blue org out of his red pocket.He squeezed it slightly and a blue light rose forth, consuming Sora and Donald.Once the process was completed, Sora looked more fierce than ever.His suit had changed and his mastery of spells had exceeded their normal level of power.

 

Cloud noticed another member in an organization cloak look at him and his friend Leon. He rose his eyebrow wondering what he wanted and starred at the shade of hair and almost the same style he had. One thing for certain was that Roxas was now standing by Axel which meant he knew him some how. He waited in silence for the next one to speak most likely Xemnas who held the floor.

Demyx slapped his forehead at the point he saw Roxas. He shook his head refusing to think this was happening. It was like a huge nightmare that kept getting worse and worse by the second. How humilating for him to witness all of these members just waiting for him to speak. "I wish to speak to the boss alone with no other organization members present if I may. I deserve my dignity at least." His azure orbs starred into Xemnas's orange ones.

 

Aerith sighed, looking sadly at the damage. She didn't like the fighting...especially when there was no need to. Hollow Bastion could have been such a pretty place too, or it used to be. She sighed again, then reached into her pocket, pulling out a small machine. It would help her link up to the comms that Cloud should be wearing.

 

No ya don't!"
Gex had absolutly no idea what was going on, but at least he could get this chump angry, maybe even throw a punch.


You have ten minutes to talk, in front of all of us. You better start explaining yourself and promptly. With every passing moment your situation is becoming less and less favorable.

 

Mixt walked along and eventually heard voices. There was one voice in particular that worried him, although he couldn't make out words it had an air of authority about it. That meant it was most likely Xemnas or another high ranking member. Wanting to enter, if only briefly, Mixt transmuted an Organization coat and put the hood up. Hoping that his body structure was close enough to another member to play the facade for a bit, he walked forward and recognized Gex and Larxene, but the room had others in there as well. Mixt simply stood on the sidelines, not wanting to draw attention if at all preventable.

 

Cloud noticed his light on his comlink blinking, and he typed in a message to Aerith letting her know that he would respond back when he could. Thinking of her made him bound and determined to stand up and let his voice be heard as she was like his voice of encouragement the one who kept his light from fading out. He glared at Gex and then Xemnas for his treatment towards the younger member. He addressed Gex first. "Shut up! You have nothing to say so keep out of it," he pointed to Gex. Turning to Xemnas he approached him, his sword at his side. "So this is how you treat the so called members of your organization? No wonder he's different from the rest of you guys. He's the only one that seems to have a heart from what I can see. All of you are sick twisted freaks who need to get your acts together and think about someone else besides yourselves," he addressed everyone in the organization that was present except for Roxas and Demyx not even looking at the younger man. He glared at Larxene the one whom he had fought and beat earlier. "And you defintely don't open your big mouth," he pointed to her.

Demyx remained silent until after Cloud had spoke. Secretly he was thanking him for his involvement to stand up to the others like that, but he was also fearing of what could happen now. Spotting Gex, he narrowed his eyes at him. "Silence it was I that found you from the Underworld so bite your tongue! I refuse to have a new recruit talk back to me." He returned his contact with Xemnas and took a small breath before speaking. "It's true what Axel says. I did go see these two warriors that you see before you befriending Cloud at least because I have no intention of taking their hearts. They taught me one thing about myself is that is learn who to trust," he glared at Axel out of the corner of his eye. Speaking once more, his eyes shifted back on Xemnas. "I don't see what the whole purpose of getting our hearts back in the way we do it. We've been taking hearts for a long time now and we're still not complete. Perhaps we're going about this the wrong way? If this is going to be my future day in and day out of trying to get something I will never accomplish holding onto false hope then I feel like I'm not getting anywhere. I would rather just exist as I am now and try different methods then repeat ones that don't work. My memories of who I was before have told me otherwise and I can't ignore that. I'm only lying to myself. I will still be part of this organization, but I know what we're doing is wrong and Cloud and Leon have taught me want a conscience is so now I can see the error of my ways. Besides I have to be part of this organization, you need a water wielder with someone of my skills and I would assume the others would miss me if something were to happen to me." He starred at the ground, a tear sheding from his eye knowing that was the hardest thing he had ever done and said. Now he would wait to see what would happen.

 

Aerith got the message back, and smiled slightly. At least he was optimistic. She pocketed the comm and walked toward the rubble, seeing if she could help anyone. She wouldn't just stand by while people died.

 

This was too easy! the blonde girl, at least he suspected to be a girl, was already chomping at the bit. just one more prod would get her over the edge.

"You want some pretty lady? Then come get some!"

Xemnas steeped down from his platform. He made his way to the opinionated wretch. It was time he new the truth, time that he realized what was really going on. Standing before the nobody, like a god preparing to pass judgement, the superior stood there, waiting for Demyx to look up.

 

Mixt continued to stand there almost as if he was a statue. Absorbing in the scene around him. Easiest recon mission ever, he thought to himself as Xemnas didn't even acknowledge him.

 

Leon narrowed his eyes at Gex and couldn't believe that this punk would chew Cloud out like that. "Hey watch what you say. Don't treat my friend like that. You little punk, keep your opinions to yourself. I doubt you don't even know what a guy looks like." He raised his fist as he wanted go over there and slug that cocky new member. He turned to Cloud, "Don't listen to him Cloud, he is just too stupid to know the difference. He has to much hair covering his face," He stated eying Gex with an evil glare.


Axel noticed Roxas as he was now in his presence. The red head temporarily waved at him. Of course acting causal as if nothing was wrong. He was curious where his younger friend had gone off to all this time and would find out where he had been after he found out the result. Guilt was eating at him. Was it right to turn Demyx in like this? Even though the flurry had a plan of his own. He couldn't seem to face Demyx as he saw how miserable and upset he was. He ignored the comments and angry glances from both Cloud and Leon as the red head stepped forward. "Superior, it was my idea to bring Demyx's so called friends here. I was simply testing Demyx's loyalty and wanted to see if he would lie or try to sweet coat the truth. I Believe he is lost and is still focusing on his memories when he was human. I know that path of where the memories fall under because I have the same thing still. It is hard to ignore and there is no way we can wish them away. Without memories we wouldn't even function or react to certain circumstances or even protray an personality. Much like an empty shell. Which I know we are, but it is better to have some separate time away from an chaotic atmosphere. I hope you will keep this in mind of what you plan to do." He replied showing deep respect for Xenmas. He stepped away focusing on a member that was wearing an organization cloak, but he had not recognized him. He highly doubted it was Vexen, Zexion or Lexaeus had found a new recruit or else he would of seen them here. "Hey, who the hell are you?" He reached over and grabbed Mixt by his hood.

 

"New recruit" said Mixt simply. He doubted that story would fly with this group but it was more dangerous to change the story with Gex here. If he was lucky he might just be able to spark chaos, and that is when the secrets are truly revealed.

Cloud was prepared to stand his ground when Leon stepped in for him. He grinned appreciating the back up from his good friend and patted him on the shoulder. "Thanks Leon, but I got this." Glaring at the stranger he shook his head. "So this is how it's going to be? You don't know one thing about me and already you're starting fights. How simple minded of you. I'll deal with you later." He didn't have the time to deal with the jerk who had called him a girl. He was getting a rise out of him and Cloud was to clever to fall for his trap. He didn't know the guy and the only thing on his mind was what Demyx was experiencing right now. He listened to Axel's speech and didn't know what to think. How often did nobodies test one of another? Was this how trust was formed in the organization by making the other one spill his guts in a public display of humilation? How bizarre and how pathetic the organization's standards were. Looking at the new one in black, he rolled his eyes at the thought of another member in the black cloak sent to destroy Hollow Bastion. "Oh no not another one," he mumbled under his breath. "I hope that's all there is?"

Demyx looked up at Xemnas awaiting what would come to him. He hoped the boss would be leniant since he wasn't betraying the organization and he least told the truth rather than deny and hide the whole thing which would of made him more guilty. He had to earn some points for that. The suspense was intense as he starred at Xemnas, a scared expression in his eyes, but willing to accept what his fate was and react to it depending on what it was? He didn't understand why Axel had spoken up for him? Wasn't he the one that had turned him in and now he was vouching for him? Nobodies were very hypocrtical. Still the whole organization was like that. Not having hearts to guide them of the right choice and not being concerned if something horrible happened to another. Demyx told himself he was wrong about Axel thinking that he had betrayed him when now he was helping save him from his unknown fate. He was upset by the test, but glad that Axel did come through for him and now he understood why Axel did have to turn him in. It was for his own surival and that was something Demyx was known for as well. They really did have a lot in common. Casting away his hateful glare, his gaze at Axel was one of relief and appreciation for his superior as he nodded his head to him and looked back upon Xemnas after starring at the other supposely new recruit. "Who recruited you?" he asked Mixt without looking at him. "And why are you even here?" His stare was still upon Xemnas as he tried to show him respect by not moving from his spot.

 

OOC: Sorry. I try to expand some, but my writing style is short and to the point. Just FYI, English has no rule on paragraph length. It is simply as long as you need to make your point. Smart-assing aside, let's get back to the RP


Mixt wasn't staring at anyone, not even Axel as he grabbed him. But he wasn't zoning out either, it was more like he was watching everything at once and couldn't focus on any one thing. "I never got a name but it is the one with an ice shield. And I'm here because I have not been assigned anywhere, and since this is where the action is at the moment, I assumed I would be of greatest use here" he explained to Demyx, lying through his teeth.

 

ah crap, why did scarface have to butt in? with this set up he'd have to do more work to get it done. Simple minded? Of course I am! I'm not held down by your petty emotions and your false friendships. I know what I want and I get it. If you think otherwise then come get me!

Using his index and thumb, Xemnas craned the sitarist's aqua eyes and made sure they were locked and connected for the incoming transmission It is about time I told you about our progress. As of recently, I have been experimenting on the duskes with kingdom hearts. from what I've seen It works on them, but not us. We need only 5 powerful hearts to make it work. After that, we can wish our hearts back and everyone we killed back into existance.

 

Aerith smiled and brushed the child's hair back as she finished bandaging her knee. One of the few injuries, she was a small girl, but seemingly strong. The girl nodded her thanks and hugged Aerith, then ran down a street, probably to where her house was. Aerith stood up, looking at the rubble. She hoped Cloud and Leon were okay, wherever they were.

 

Cloud punched some more coordinates on his comlink alerting Aerith to report any damages to the main base and to also get some groceries for them when they came back. He sent a small smile afterwards one of the many symbols to raise her hopes of his return. The last message he sent was that he now had munny and they wouldn't have to concern themselves about financial obligations. Sending the message, he covered the comlink with his sleeve so not to be so noticeable. Ignoring Gex completly, his attention was on Xemnas and Demyx. Gripping his sword by the hilt, he rubbed the handle with his fingertips.

Not believing that Mixt was telling the truth he didn't say another word. He knew Vexen did not recruit members and always stayed in his lab, so Mixt was indeed lying. He kept his eyes on Xemnas's fingers, his ears listening to the new information that was presented to him. He tried to make sense of it. "So what does this have to me and will we be the same afterwards once we do get out hearts back?" He asked still looking at Xemnas. He didn't know what was going to happen next, but he was prepared to flee in case something disaterous was going to happen
