A Life to Lead ^_^

Zexion chuckled. "You need to rest, friend. Don't stay awake. I don't need anything." He sat back down in the chair, and opend a really big book, and started reading.

 

Lexaeus obeyed. Calmly, he drifted off into momentary oblivion and waited. In time, his power would return and his orders layed out before him. He was fortunate being a nobody. With no heart he couldn't be angry at anyone for the pain he endured through.

 

With the Lexeaus issue out of the way Vexen returned outside and found that the man he had seen earlier was gone. Just his luck, he dodged punishment on the Lexeaus injury and now the intruder had escaped. Or did he enter the castle? The security inside was mild technologically since he didn't expect anyone to get in. The lesser nobodies might do the trick, but it was doubtful

Mixt walked through the halls of TCTNW, although there were nobodies about they did not strike. True he wasn't a member of the organization and could not order them to do anything, but he was still a more powerful nobody and could use that authority to stop them. Before long he heard voices. Most people would try to hide but seeing as the point was to shake things up a little Mixt actually went to track down the voices and soon walked into the room of Gex and Larxene.

 

Demyx watched the light form in Leon's eyes as if a heavy rain cloud had been lifted off of him. He was content that Leon now had his weapon and could relate on his own. They shared a common bond. Demyx had his sitar and it meant more than anything to him and so this must be the feeling that Leon was having right now. He smiled and looked at the ground, becoming very facinated with his foot all of a sudden. Demyx looked up and nodded his head, the smile fading knowing what Leon was mentioning. "Unforuntely yes and it's a lame reason if you ask me. Just so we can get more nobodies to do the same ole boring thing. Gather hearts and hope one day we will become complete. I don't think it is ever going to happen and no matter how many we take, we're simply just speculating hoping for something that we don't have." He sat down on the bed as he shook his head. "Man I wish I didn't have to see you guys in private and I refuse to take your hearts.Something is telling me that it is wrong."

Cloud placed a conforting hand on Leon's shoulder to let him know he was there for him. "Don't worry Leon. We're safe and that is in the past. Demyx is aganist the idea of having us become heartless, as long as we have him around we'll be safe from the others. He seems to understand us otherwise why would he help us?" He now stood in front of Demyx and stared at him shaking his head. "I believe you're developing a conscience and that is a sign of coming closer to getting your heart. A conscience is what tells you whether something is right or wrong and if you do the wrong thing you have what they call guilt. It makes you feel really miserable. I know you are different from the rest of the organization and perhaps Leon and I could help you and teach you to be more human."

 

Looking past Larxene, the pain enthusiast saw a new individual. Possibly another chance at pain. Then again it was probably just another member so he wasn't a target. Still that begged the question of why he was here. Maybe xemnas ordered that man to track him down.

In either case, Gex waved at the nobody from across the hall

"Yeah yeah we know we'll be right there."

 

Mixt was confused at the man's friendly demeanor even if he didn't show it. He had expected to have weapons pointed at him the moment they set eyes on him, perhaps this could be used to his advantage though. Walking up to Gex, Mixt said "So what's going on around here? I'm new around here so I haven't been told much"

 

So the boss didn't send the nobody. Very well then, a new recruit like himself. He probably wasn't any fun.

"Really? what's your name and who brought you?"

 

Zexion looked up at Lexeaus now and then to make sure nothing was wrong. The nobody teen was done with two book in an hour. He always read fast. It was someting his somebody had passed on to him. 'I need a new book.' He thought gloomly to himslef, 'but I can't leave Lex alone.'

 

the muscle of the organization began to stir in his sleep and mumble something. after repeating the phrase he rolled on his side. Soon his body was shaking. What was going on? a dream, or something worse?"

 

Mixt shrugged to buy himself a moment of time. He hadn't really met anyone yet, so he couldn't give a name and could only describe three people "I don't know anyone's name yet. It was the one with the ice shield"

 

Gex shrugged at the man with the armor

"I'm sorry buddy, don't know what you're talking about. Wait, how did you not know the name of your recruiter? You're memory has to suck then. It does suck amiright?"

 

"He never told me and I never cared. Well I'm a nobody, I can't care" Mixt bluffed. It lloked like this lie was going to work, if only temporarily.

 

"That doesn't seem right. Knowing a name is useful for coordinating actions. You have the eyes of someone who knows that. Those eyes are those that serve a great mind. Am I wrong what-your-name or am I cold?+

 

Mixt was tempted to smile but instantly realized that it would make him more suspicious so it only appeared as a mild and breif twitch. "Well it wouldn't serve me much purpose to know his name since I don't have the rank to coordinate anything but the squadrons of nameless lesser nobodies. He does have my name however. It happens to be Mixt, so you can drop the "What's-your-name" business"

 

"hmmm, well yes I could. I'm glad you noticed. Still, knowing names helps you report to the higher ups and the attack can still be coordinated fully. Just keep that in mind whats-your-name."

 

Mixt shook his head "I've never been one for formalities anyway. Even if I did know his name I would rarely use it" This was one of the only completely honest things he said this whole time.

 

Gex put his hands up in surrender

"Fine fine, be like that whats-your-name. I'm not your boss so I wouldn't care less. So why you wanna join anyway? There isn't much here."

 

Perfect. Time to start getting some info Mixt thought. "This is a better strategic standpoint. Isn't that why we're all here?"

 

"well, you can call it that. We all have our own goals. For that reason is why we all have diffrent actions we stay together for a simple reason. It is so simple that I think you can figure it out. "
