A Life to Lead ^_^

Xion looked up. "It's okay." she murmured, lowering her eyes gently to the flower, then gently pulling up a weed beside it. "I wanted to know how his gun had worked. He just aimed it at the air. He's my guardian." she said idly, standing up. "I"m not even showing yet. Honestly, it's not a big deal."

"..." Nero looked from Xion to the others, seeing the conversation go on.Xion was determined to stand up for him, so he'd allow it.None of these guys would hurt her anyway, and if they did they'd need to answer to him.Could he help it if he was loyal to her? It was his job after all, and she was special in her own right.

 

Xion smiled up at Nero, her blue eyes still slightly worried. "Cloud, Tifa wants to speak to you. Demyx....Are you okay?" she asked, blinking as her vision cleared. "Cloud shoudln't go away, Tifa needs him. She just doesn't want to let it on."

 

"As long as you're not in any danger that is all that matters," he was referring to Nero for he didn't know who this guy was with the gun. "If Tifa wants to talk to me then I'll leave you in good hands with Demyx." He patted her gentely on the back and turned his attention to Tifa. "You wanted to speak with me?" He asked, his blue eyes with a hint of curiousity, but deep sadness in them though it wasn't very obvious.

Demyx kept his eyes on the stranger not sure of how he met Xion in the first place. "Am I okay? The question is are you okay? I came back here when I heard a loud noise and I thought that the guy shot you. What is his name Xion?" He asked her for he wanted to see if he was a friend or a foe.

 

" ..I'm here to protect Xion, that's all. Don't worry about my name." Nero responded, patting her shoulder gently before looking back towards Cloud.So that was the prick Rufus told him about.Well, wasn't his problem at least.He glanced back at Xion."..Anyway, anything you'd like to do?"

 

Tifa beckoned Cloud inside, then began washing dishes. She wearily pushed her hair back from her forehead, then stuck her hands back in the soapy water, scrubbing the grit gone. "We should talk..make things clear." she murmured, gently piling them up, the clink and running water the only sounds.

Xion smiled a little. "I'm okay. He's my new friend, so be nice." she said sternly, watching the two guys. "He's staying here, so you might as well get along. Besides, my two best friends should be happy together, right?" She watched them both. "I'm almost done with the flowers, okay? Two more minutes, I promise."

 

Roxas had seen everything including the gun that was one time pointed at Xion. The blonde was not that much of a fool. Nor did he think it was an test either. This stranger seem very mysterious to him and he wasn't going to jump to conclusions as of now. He carefully snuck out of his hiding place and then looked at Xion and then at Nero and the others. "Why do you think you need to protect Xion?" He questioned Nero.

 

Suds, soap and splattering was the only thing Cloud had payed attention to. She seemed agitated about something. He had a feeling he knew what it was, but just to be clear he decided to ask her. "Tifa I have a feeling I know what this is about so go ahead and discuss it." He turned off the water and placed the dishes in the dishwasher. After finishing that task, he dried his hands with a towel that was in a drawer. "It has to do with that one guy with the gun doesn't it? Before you say anything I need to tell you what Zack told me last time we spoke to one of another when Aerith was still alive."

Demyx looked down at Xion giving her a grin and he wasn't to comfortable with seeing the stranger's hand on her shoulder. "You're here to protect Xion? No kidding." He kneeled down to the small girl's level. "Cloud and I are doing that so you don't need to." He didn't want any fights or confrontations especially when he didn't know what this guy was capable of. Perhaps he had been in to many fights since his arm was in a sling? Something just wasn't right and what if he discovered that she was a member of the organization at one time. Would he change his tune about her? "Well since you know my name I think it's only fair if I know yours. After all if you are here to protect her too you will be seeing myself and Cloud more often and I would like to know your name and not call you guy with the sling or oh injured one." He joked waving his hand at him in a friendly gesture.

 

Tifa looked up at him. "In the church." She stated, moving to the counters and getting out food. She had to do something, she couldn't just watch him. It would make everything hurt worse. "So tell me."

 

"Which church Tifa?" Cloud asked after he watched her get food out. "And why does it have to be there?" He heard a conversation from his friend and Xion plus the other man he did not know. At least he didn't have to worry about any fights happening, but he could tell that the warrior was obviously strong just by his build and how he handled himself."Xion will be all right while we speak or do you want to bring her with us? Tifa, tell me this new comer's name. If I'm going to be around him more often I need to know."

Demyx waited for a response from the stranger and he starred at him for what seemed like ten minutes until he decided to speak once more. "Okay the strong and silent type. I take the hint." He put his hand on his right hip. "Xion are you sure you want this stranger who ever he is to take care of you too? How do you know you can even trust him? He's not friendly at all," Demyx felt cold vibes from the warrior who didn't say a word. It was almost like he was a statue. "Now that's just plain rude," he complained. "Figures you remind me so many of others I know," he grinned at him.

Xigbar had heard Luxord's plan and was ready to go with it whenever the gambler of fate was ready himself. "In the meantime you want to go get a drink?" He signaled with his thumb to a tavern just down the street. "Boss won't care if we wet our whistle. He's probably starrring at the heart again anyway."

 

Tifa shook her head. "Never mind. We can stay." She turned and looked back at him. "What happened? To us? I trust you with my life, but lately I don't udnerstand you. I can't try to anymore. Denzel considers you a hero, Marlene thinks of you as a father. I can't go back without you."

Xion looked up at Demyx with a smile. "Everything is coming to a crossroads. I can't tell where things will end up. People will have to make heavy decisions, including you. You can trust him. As much as I trust you."

 

Luxord gave his drinking and gambling buddy an smile when he suggested the bar. "thats an brilliant idea Xigbar" The Gambler of Fate said to his companion as he looked at the bar examining the water damage. If the people was dead in there it did not matter "like you stated our superior is probally letting his orange pupels stare at the ever shinning heart" Luxord said with an smile as he started heading to the tavern.

 

(OOC: Ok recap is Larxene was left off in her room hating Demyx who she thinks stole her plan, Axel is lying on the couch in Tifa's place from being hurt by Roxas with the keyblade since he lost his temper, Cloud is talking to Tifa in the same house, Demyx is speaking with Xion and also met the stranger Nero? I think his name is who is not speaking, but wants to protect Xion too. Leon is in the house as well. Before that Cloud and Demyx were talking about what happened to the town with the water damage and the reasons behind it and then they hear a gunshot which explains why they are both at the same place. Sora I think is in Hollow Bastion somewhere. The Turks are still in Hollow Bastion. Xigbar and Luxord are going to go to a tavern, but devised a plan to make Tifa play one of Luxord's dangerous games thus getting Cloud to become darker then he is now.)

Cloud gazed right into Tifa's concerned eyes and shook his head. What she said was true, but so many things have changed ever since the death of Sephiroth who became a heartless and then a nobody. He was part of Sephiorth and he couldn't escape that fact. A mere puppet to his whim and the darkness was beginning to grow in him more. Aerith's unexpected death did not help and either did all the hatred and other close friends turning against him. "What do you mean you don't understand me? Everything I have done is for you. The whole deal, the endless fighting and even hearing you think of joining the Turks is really unsettling for me. It makes me question if you still have honor or not? But I'm not going to repeat myself. Xion will be protected under my protection and my friend's and you still won't tell me the other stranger's name. What are you hiding from me? Why are you trying to be someone you're not by pulling away from me?" He crossed both of his arms in malcontent.

Demyx grinned back at her and then placed a comforting hand over her shoulder. "I still would like to know who he is Xion. If I'm to trust him how can I if I don't know what he is called? Does that make sense?" He was looking out for her the best he could at the time. Xemnas had not summoned him, Larxene was somewhere else and the last time he saw her was at the Altar of Naught. What else was he supposed to do? He couldn't trust someone he just met, the one with the arm in the sling, not yet. He had to prove his trust. He was curious of what Cloud and Tifa were talking about.

"You can lead the way if you want," Xigbar suggested. "What I want to know is how are you going to lure that Tifa woman to us?" He held his head up high making sure no one was listening to their conversation. To prove his point he made his sharp shooters appear.

 

Tifa sighed, letting her hair fall over her face. SHe knew it needed to be put back, but she just didn't have energy or time. "I'm trying to find my own way, Cloud. I waited for you, at home. I waited for so long, but you never came. I had to make my own way after that. You think I don't know about you and Sephiroth? I do. I know almost everything. Do you think I dont have issues from the past I need to solve? I can't stay home forever."

Xion smiled, her eyes lighting up, then dragged Demyx and Nero over to another section of the garden, pointing with her finger, smudged with dirt. "I'm making new flowers! Aerith taught me how. Don't worry about Cloud and Tifa. They need to talk, before..." she bit her lip.

 

Larxene exited her room swiftly, shutting the door slowly behind her. She was still angry, very angry. He took her plan, a plan with her sacrifice to be made to help complete it, and he took it for his own.
Glancing up and down the corridor, the Nymph sighed and walked to her right.
The stone floor below her made clipping sound on her boots, breaking the intimate silence the hung in the air around her small body.
Where would he be right now? Probably going through with the plan and finding the Turks?
Pausing, Larxene shut her eyes and let out another tired sigh. She wanted sleep, but first, she must smack some sense into the water mage.
Upon the reopening of her azure eyes, the Nymph’s pupils dilated vastly.
“He’ll be in Hollow Bastion. Finding them.†She muttered, her usually airy tone hardening viciously. “I’ll kill him.â€

Opening a cold corridor from thin air, the small blonde wisped away into the harsh void, and into the streets of Hollow Bastion.

"I'm here to protect Xion ..that's all you'll need to know, murderer." Nero muttered, knowing all about this ones killing spree.Elena's description fit him perfectly.Annoying, persistent, and one pain in the ass not many could deal with.He'd kill the guy if he could, but Xion wouldn't exactly like it. He'd do it out of the eyes of her.She understood he was a killer, so perhaps not seeing the kill would ease her pain.

Out in the garden, dragged, he smiled a little at how full of life the girl was.But her dragging him off gave a good excuse not to answer the blond kid at least.That was one pain in the neck he didn't need."You plan on becoming a gardener someday, Xion?" he asked.

 

Xion shook her head. "They're just pretty. I don't know what I'm doing." She smiled, then turned to the tree, lightly springing onto it and climbing up. "You boys be good now, or I'll get cranky at you."

With her hands resting on her hips, Larxene’s set of azure eyes scanned the small streets of Hollow Bastion. It was rather empty, she had to admit, which made it a lot easier to find Demyx.
With her eyes set on a building before her, the Nymph ran towards it, reaching lightening speed in less than a second.
With a slight arch of her foot, she jumped, grabbing the ledge of the building and pulling herself up completely. Her eyes scanned again as she proceeded to walk across the rooftops, making little jumps every so often over gaps that appeared between the numerous buildings.
It was times like these that she wanted her heart. That way she could actually get on with life and not worry about missions, having a superior on her ass, or anything else like that. She wanted it...Well...Normal wasn’t the right word to describe it, but it was getting closer to that point each day. It was just annoying having so much drama buzzing about.
Zero-percent Drama was not something she wished to obtain, as drama was such a source of entertainment that it wasn’t something Larxene wanted to give up, but not something she wanted directed at her consistently. That’s more annoying than anything.
Pausing, the blonde nobody decided to place herself down on the ledge of a building. If she focussed, then she would be able to hear his whiney voice from any angle.

But only if she focussed.

 

Xion clambered up to the roof, looking up at the blue sky, then crawling to the edge of the roof, and lying flat, staring up at the sky. She let the images come to her then, pictures people, places, things she might all see. She let it wash over her like rain, then closed her eyes, focusing on one path.

There was a small blob, something tiny. It slowly dissolved, then disappeared, as a blue orb took it's place, growing bigger an bigger, crackling...

 

Larxene turned, glaring at the small girl that lay similar to her on corresponding building mere metres away. She seemed peaceful, and at ease with the world around her. Hah. Nothing to worry over, maybe?
Before one could blink, Larxene was on her rooftop, stood over Xion and looking at her in a scrutinizing fashion. Her hands were clamped to her hips as she peered down at the black-haired girl, one blonde eyebrow arched pitifully.
“Aaaw, is little Xion tired from doing nothing? How pathetic.†She spat, straightening up from her bet position over the girl. She paced slowly – or what she assumed was slow – across the roof as the sun beat down from the crystal blue sky, her eyes gently closed.
“Hey kid, have you seen Demyx? I need to...Talk to him.†She questioned abruptly, one eye now open and looking towards the girl.
