A King's Story

Hikaru blinked, getting an idea. He looked at Haruhi. "Um... Sorry but me and Karou have to go...... somewhere..... away from you two.... IMPORTANT!" He turned to ash and floated up to Karou, looking like he was pulling him along. Whining was heard. "Hikaru...! Why are you dragging me away? I'm having fun...." Karou's voice trailed off.

 

Xyam blinked at what Karou had said, shrugged it off and continued walking.

 

Haruhi looked up at Kaiko. "Fun?"
Kaiko giggled, still as water. "You could say that!" She flew off.
Haruhi sighed and ran after Xyam.

Haruhi shrugged. "Normally, me and Kaiko are with Kaito, helping him around. We're his most loyal servants, thats why we can both be ourselves around him." She smiled. "Are you Kazune's servant?"

 

she smiled. " no"

 

Haruhi blinked. "Then what are you to him? A family member? A friend?"

 

" keep guessing" she skipped slightly

 

Haruhi thought more. "....Girlfriend? But thats odd. Commoners don't date or marry Royalty!"

 

she frowned slightly and stopped . " not in your kingdom anyway"

 

"Or the earth kingdom or the air kingdom or anyother Kingdoms that I know of. Before you step up to the crown, sure but after, no go." Haruhi said.

 

she scowled" frankly, i'm not bothered what the other kingdoms do. and what does a change of title have to do with it, it's still the same person"

 

"Well, since your classed as an commoner, if you die after Kazune or with Kazune, your coffin will be 8 inches lower then his." Haruhi said. "Also, without him, you wouldn't be accepted the royal privelages. But I do think you're brave to be with him."

 

" he's worth the risk" she smiled

 

"The closer you are to him, the more of a target you are for assasination." Haruhi smiled. "We wouldn't dream of flirting with Kaito."

 

xyam shrugged" they tried, they failed. and you seem capable of flirting with the twins."

 

Haruhi smiled. "Hmm... yeah. They're at our level of class so its fine."

 

" you think about things too much..., i just ,do things and think later..." she began to walk again

 

Haruhi gasped. "Without considering the consequences? You could be killed, living that way of life!"

 

she shrugged "meh..."
