A King's Story: High in the Skies

"I'm sorry." Tsuyoki replied. "but as members of the military, we can't allow a member of an enemy nation to walk about freely." Softly, a smile pulled across his face. "However, we could you some personal survailence. We'll be with you at all times and you will not be harrassed and our nation will be safe."

 

Opal sighed, "I still don't like it, but I guess that's better than you fighting me. I hope I can still leave though, cos I'm not planning on staying. By the way I've got no money for an inn, so I guess I'm sleeping rough by the river before leaving in the morning. Thanks again, Mei for the meal" She half smiled at Mei.

 

Tsuyoki raised his eyebrow, confused.
"What are you talking about? aren't you staying with us? We have the room."

 

"What? Oh. Um...I don't know. I can? Then sure, please, yes? I'm still leaving in the morning though, I like to be free. Who knows where I'll go though? I don't really belong anywhere right now." She looked at Mei "You made me believe I did, I guess not. Oh well, never mind." Opal nodded.

 

Tsuyoki shook his head, smiling. "Oooooh no! You're staying right here with us. We're friends and friends have to stick together." the soldier opened his arms wide, offering up a group hug.

 

Hate growled and stuck his hand out. Being shocked, he pulled back, looking for a way out. "Damn you...."

Dr Cid smirked. "Tell me. How do you FEEL?"

Kotarou nodded. "Pretty smart for a 24/7 crap machine."

 

Mei smiled at Tsuyoki. He is right you know, Opal. We cannot just let you go free with out your friends. She smiled warmly at Opal and hugged Tsuyoki. Join us if you please.

Kami took in a few breathes. That should keep you contained for the time being. Kami reached into her pocket and pulled out the crystal she had saved. Maybe you can help me...

Akito looked blanky at Cid.Feel.

 

Opal shrugged her shoulders and went in for the group hug but her head was whirling. Does that mean they wouldn't let her leave? No way, she couldn't be stuck here, trapped. Maybe they didn't mean that, she really hoped they didn't.

 

Mei smiled at her. I am really glad to be friends with you.

 

Opal smiled "Me too" Opal decided this might not actually be all that bad.

 

"And why the fuuck should I help a stupid biitch?!" Hate scowled at her.

Cis instantly grinned. SUCCESS! Getting rid of his grin, he looked at Akito. "Akito. You are special. People like me and Kami and everyone else have things called emotions, things you don't have."

 

Mei held her tightly and smiled even greater.

Opal decided she was going to find out all she could about them, "So, what do you guys like to do?"

Hate scowled, sitting down on the floor.
Sadness came out, sitting on the floor and just looking sad. "Help....? From me.....?" He asked miserably.

Dr Cid explained to him what emotions were and what he should do if he wanted to show any of them.

 

Mei thought about the question. Do not quite know actually. She giggled.

Kami sat on the floor by Sad. Yes. She placed a hand on his back.

Opal raised her eyebrows, so much for that, "I mean what do you do for fun around here?"

 

She giggled again. Well being in the army and all does not give you much time to do things. She smiled at Opal. But maybe you can help me find out.

 

Hate smirked. "This should be fun to watch."
Sadness looked up at Hate. "Fun? I haven't had fun in years...."
"Sado here is a point of depression. Well giggles, got any bright ideas for the lady?"
"I have about a million ideas..... All leading to certain death....." Sadness looked back at the floor.

Dr Cid nodded. "Now, theres one task I want you to do. Go find a boy called Alphonose and bring him back here."

 

"Hey, come down to the river and I'll show you something really cool. My speciallity, come on you've just got to see it, please." Opal laughed, she couldn't wait to impress her new friends.
