A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Opal gasped, "No, that's terrible"

 

"well I got to get changed soon, I know ! I'll change in the main hall and see what happens..." she joked.

 

"I lay there for days. Eventually, I died. But something kept me to the world...." Abee looked at his hands. "I can't leave. They put me in a body, saying that they managed to clone the surviving hero of the Water Kingdom after the rest had died in the battle. Then they cloned me, creating all the others...."

"N-No! Don't do that.... please?" Kazune had again, gone bright red.

 

Opal looked up at him, "I'm so sorry" she whispered.

 

"I love teasing you" she giggled.

 

Abee's head snapped up, looking directly at Opal. "Why're YOU sorry? It's not like you're the one who gave the direct orders to have my friends killed in front of me, letting me die only to face a tortured life and never dying!"

"I guessed."

He guessed!

 

Opal shut her eyes and looked down, "Because what happened to you was wrong, no one should ever go though anything like that, no one deserves that no matter what they do, especially not you"

She smiled and hugged him.

 

"I need another one." Abee frowned before going off, dropping the cleaver and searching around again.

Kazune hugged back.

Awh.... How cute.... Xyam is soooo very happy with her new family.

 

She grinned and licked him.

OOC: that's sound incredibly evil, new family? What was her old one?

 

A massive shiver went down Kazune's spine.

....Too bad she won't reconisge me if I appear in front of her.

She smiled "what happened there?"

 

"Another what?" Opal asked, frowning.

 

"You licked me...." Kazune replied.

"Body. One that looks exactly like my old one. They had tons of them." Abee frowned. "I won't remember a thing after I go into the new one. Like a reset button, wiping my mind of everything that has happened in the past hour."

 

Opal blinked, "Wait, no, why do you need a new one?"

 

"biggest lick reaction I've ever seen"

 

"I'm sure you don't want me to stay as a ghost. I won't be a very good father like this. Or a husband." Abee replied calmly, still looking around.

"Shut up...." Kazune frowned slightly.

Damnit..... Sit here and write this cruddy journal while watching Xyam take all the good men or do something....

 

Opal smiled slightly, "Yes, but if you go into a new body, will you remember me? Or anthing that has happened? Or will you just forget this last hour?"

 

"oh cheer up , you know I'm only messing"

 

"I won't remember the past hour. So all I think would be that I passed out just before I turned ghost like in the dining room." Abee replied.

"I know you are." Kazune smiled.
