A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Cid followed after her. Getting onto the roof, he leant against the wall. "What did you want to talk to me about?"

"Snce I'm King, at times I have to have special meetings." Alphonse smiled. "Some more special then others."

Lucas laid down on the bed, frowning.

 

Nel walked to egde. "Nothing really. I just wanted a litlle alone time with you."

Raikou nodded. "Okay. I get it!"

"Do you need anything?" Karen asked, stroking his hair.

 

Cid put an arm around her, smiling. "Miku and Laura. Are those your friends 'Halibel'?"

Alphonse smiled.

Lucas shook his head.

 

Nel grinned. "Indeed they are. Wht about Ci-wait...am I supposed to call you Cid?"

Raikou patted his head. "Great but Daddy shouldn't miss those meetings."

Karen nodded and laid next to him.

 

"Cid Raifel. That's my name. Of course, if I went around calling myself Cid Bunansa the whole of the freaking school would know who I am." Cid sighed. "You know what pisses me off? My science teacher, who can't teach science. We were doing one of my experiments and he was just cutting corners and making it wrong."

"Okay. Daddy won't miss those meetings." Alphonse smiled.

"My pact mark has gone, hasn't it?" Lucas asked.

 

Nel looked at him. "Cid...try not to take control...then that would sure reveal who you are...and may reveal my identiy as well." She took off her hat and glasses.

Raikou smiled back. "That's a good Daddy."
Chicchai flew over.

Karen looked away, nodding slightly.

 

"I know, I know....." Cid hugged her. "But it is annoying...."

"Good Daddy." Alphonse agreed.

"Then make sure Darren doesn't come near me." Lucas replied.

 

Nel huuged him back.

Raikou laughed at how funny Alphonse sounded.

"Understood." Karen nodded.

 

"You better put your disguise back on before a hoard of fangirls run up the stairs." Cid pulled away. "I can hear them the floor below us."

Alphonse smiled still.

"Because it'll hurt him. Demons natually detest light. With the pact, it doesn't affect him." Lucas carried on.

 

Nel quickly put on the disguise.

"What?" Raikou asked.

Karen paid close attention.

A group of girls rushed through the door and over to them, surrounding Cid. They pushed Nel away from Cid.
Cid sighed, answering their questions, backing away slightly.

"Nothing. I'm just in a good mood today." Alphonse replied.

"So if he's around me and the pact is gone, I'll harm him and so will other people in the Light Kingdom." Lucas finished.

 

She followed him, skipping slightly.

L watched for a moment. "oh yeah, um can I have it please?"

 

Kaia immediatly walked normally, "Oh, er, nothing"

 

Kazune smiled at her, heading into the kitchens,

Abee sat up, looking around.

 

"Abee?" Opal said quietly and cautiously.

 

Abee floated up, looking around the room. He frowned slightly.

 

Opal frowned as Abee floated up, she didn't understand what was happening but she didn't like it.

 

Abee carried on looking, disappearing through desk and chairs. He stopped in front of a large locker. "What is in here?"
"Files. But it's been rusted shut and we can't get it open without damaging what's insi-"
Nigaito was cut off as Abee suddenly went inside, forcing all the drawers open and paper flying everywhere.

 

Opal just watched in silence, unsure what to do.

 

Abee rifled through the papers. "Trash, trash, TRASH!"
Nigaito's eyes widened. "Abee! Please! Stop it!"
Abee froze, staring inside one drawer. Reaching inside, a smirk spread acorss his face before bringing out a massive hooked cleaver. "Found it." He held it gently.
Nigaito stared, actually quiet scared.
