A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Opal smiled back at him as she layed back on the bed.

 

Abee watched her, smiling. "You must be really tired."

 

"Hey, giving birth is a exausting thing" She said, shutting her eyes but not yet going to sleep.

 

"Of course. I expected it no less." Abee replied, looking around.

 

Opal frowned, "You alright there?" She opened her eyes to look at him.

 

"Yeah. I guess after getting my memories back I see things in a new perpective. This used to be Lab 5, the medical wing." Abee replied. "Scary stuff happened here."

 

"Ah" She sat up and rubbed her eyes, "Do you want to move?"

 

Abee shook his head. "No. I'd like to stay with you both." He smiled. "I never really saw what was in here. Only heard through whispers. Probably all rumours anyway."

 

Opal nodded and layed back down, "Okay, if you're sure"

 

"shut up you cocky bastaard!"

 

Abee nodded, looking back at Raffaello. "I hope he doesn't have a life like I did."

 

"He won't, I won't let him" Opal said with a sense of determination, she wanted the best life for her child.

 

"Good." Abee smiled more.
Raffaello twitched in his sleep.

 

Opal smiled and shut her eyes again.

 

Abee sat down in the chair next to the bed. Looking around the room, flashbacks came to him, seeing scientists rushing around, some observing 'experiments', others torturing them.

"Exactly what I'm talking about." Sunohara pointed out.
"Please. At least try to be nice to everyone." Rika stood up, walking over to him. "I'm sure it'll make things better sir."

 

"I'll be nice when everyone stops PISSING ME OFF"

 

"We're not doing it on purpose sir. That prediction I said was true. Saying it bluntly, I was hoping to make you inspired to prove me wrong. But obviously it had the opposite effect..." Rika sighed. "And Aii-kun is always cocky like that. Its his nature. Can't you see around it?"

OOC: i wanna make L hit Rika for some reason.

 

OOC: he will do if she keeps saying that cos they are both severly gonna die soon

BIC:

"IT'S NOT TRUE AND YOU KNOW IT!"

 

"It is true sir. I know it is!" Rika cried out. "This is the 5th time! It will happen if things carry on like this!" She looked like she was about to cry.

 

L had started to glow slightly by this point and embers were floating to the floor.
