A King's Story 4: Fading Light

"Dolls aren't very scary, are they? Well, to you guys I guess they are." Dark shrugged,

 

"they are in low lighting and have completely White eyes"

 

Dark smirked, looking away. "What? No pupils? Like this maybe?" He looked back at her, his eyes completely white.

 

"yup just like that, oh yeah all the dolls are broken in some way and have creepy sharp teeth"

 

"Heh. Maybe that is pretty scary. I might be a bit disturbed by them." Dark changed back to normal, blinking to set his vision straight again.

 

viv smiled

 

"Shinigami don't get scared. They can act scared but they aren't really." Dark looked at her.

 

"who needs to be scared when they can kill you so easily"

 

"Exactly. Nothing is scarier then having a Shinigami around really." Dark smirked, looking out the window. "In the words of one of my commrads, we're technically Death's biitches." He laughed. "Like I believe that."

 

She just smiled not really interested.

 

"Thing is, now that I'm King here, I'm going to have to be very careful." Dark frowned, watching the city. "4 other ranks. 6 other Atlantians. 10 enemies that could knock me off this spot."

 

"who says I won't?"

 

"Vivienne, I could take your soul right now and crush it into a thousand pieces if I wanted to. You're not much of a threat to me. Just a potential annoyance." Dark replied.

 

"you really hate me don't you?"

 

"Whoever said I hated you?" Dark looked at her. "You haven't pissed me off or annoyed me yet. Everything you do is always on my good side."

 

"good, I don't like bein on bad sides"

 

Dark put his arm around her shoulders. "After all, I would be a pretty bored King without a Queen, wouldn't I?"

 

Vivienne grinned "that you would"

 

"After all, I'd look less 'want to kill everything in sight' with you around. Getting the people of this Kingdom to trust me will help me taking over the World below." Dark smirked. "And as much as Shinigami aren't human, we can get lonely at times."

 

Vivienne pulled an 'aw' face
