A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Dark started to work it out in his head. "1000.... 1888.... hmm.... 2673. I've been alive since 1403."

 

"And you've never done it?"

 

Dark shook his head. "Nope. You'll understand why if you saw what the human girls look like back then." He pulled a disgusted face.

 

"Good point, they all look the same to me in pictures. but they all look different now"

 

"I still find it un-interesting."

 

"Im not gona rest until you get laid"

 

Dark laughed. "This'll be interesting."

 

She appeared behind him and wrapped her arms around him. "I bet it will"she said in her odd whispery voice.

 

Dark looked at her. "It's an impossible challenge. Someone tried to do this before with 4 other people on his side. He failed."

 

"A gay guy came onto you?"

 

"No. He tried to get me laid with a human girl but failed. Though he was very flamboyant..." Dark sighed.

 

"I'm still gonna try"she smiled.

 

"Meh. Try all you like." Dark started walking, heading out.

 

She trotted behind him."Where are you going?"

 

"I dunno."

 

Opal laughed, "Aren't you strong?"

 

Raffaello yawned, eyes drooping.
"Awh..." Abee smiled, rocking him gently.

 

Opal laughed, "Sweet, he's tired"

 

"Being born takes a lot outta you." Abee smiled, watching Raffaello. "I slept 18 hours a day when I was 'born'. I was just tired."

 

Opal burst out laughing, "Fair enough, I guess"
