A King's Story 4: Fading Light

L was sort of frozen unsure what to do next.

 

Amai looked into his eyes.

 

L blushed more. He tried to look everywhere except back into her eyes, but failed spectacularly.

 

Lolipop shrugged. "I dunno. I had a weird urge. Anyways, this will be your room til the game is over."

 

Amai couldn't but move closer to him.


Karen herself and looked down.

 

L knew what was coming. He started stuttering.

 

Lolipop offered a hand. "Lemme help you up."

 

Amai paused for a moment.


Karen thought for a moment before taking his hand.

 

L stood stuttering, turning redder.

 

Lolipop pulled her up. "There."

 

Amai start to pull away, blushing.


Karen couldn't look at him.

 

L smiled at her, glad he wasn't nosebleeding everywhere.

 

"You want to see Lucas, dont you?" Lolipop said, watching her carefully.

 

Amai was still blushing as she made her way to the kitchen.


Karen gasped. "Lucas?"

 

The World distored around them again. They were in Lucas' study.

Lucas wasnt at his desk. He was on one of the sofas, laid there, very still. The only sign of life was blinking and breathing.

 

"Lucas." Karen hurried over to him.

 

Lucas was staring right at her, not seeing her.

"We're still in the UG Karen. He cant see or hear you." Lolipop told her.

 

Karen dropped to knees.

 

Lucas still watched her. "I must be going mad. A faded figure of Karen is next to me..."

 

Karen gasped again. She looked at him.
