A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

"And then i go and spoil it" she smiled at him and sat up.

 

Opal gulped, she didn't know how to react. Her hand curled into a fist, they weren't bad people and they'd been nice to her but she couldn't be trapped here forever. And Abee...her heart hurt to think of what he did to him. But, what could she do? Satouru could beat her easily, never mind the rest of the village. She just stood there in disbelief, her body a war of emotions.

 

"Yes, you meanie-bo-beanie..." Kazune crossed his arms, sitting there like a little boy being scolded.

"So while you're here, you can actually be useful and not a burden. You'll be treated the same as everyone else but that doesn't mean that the others will like you. They'll only do it because you have my thumbs up." Satoru carried on.
"The second it's down, we can treat you like we treat all Mud-People and SkyMud-People." Sayum grinned evilly.
Keya came out with the baby on her back, walking over to them. "Sayum, stop grinning, I can still see the remainder of that deer we ate three days ago."
Sayum glared her her but shut his trap.
Keya looked at Satoru. "I found out the name of the Mud-Cub. She's called May."

 

"Aw" she shuffled over to him and cuddled him.

 

Opal forced herself to nod and smile. She decided she might as well go along with this until an oppertunity arised.

 

Kazune let himself be hugged. "You are mean at times. But I won't change that for anything."

"Opal, faking likin being here will get you no where. Stop it." Keya looked at her, frowning slightly.

 

"And the fact that I'm currently naked doesn't contribute to that?" she smiled.

 

"........ Maybe." Kazune replied, looking over his shoulder at her.

 

She laughed slightly and kissed his shoulder.

 

Kazune watched her, smiling slightly.

 

Opal sighed and looked down, "I'm sorry, it's not that I don't like you, you have been amazing to me but it's been a long day. It's a lot to take in."

 

Keya watched her. "I understand. Maybe in time you'll be fine."

Kazune sat in his study chair, half asleep. Ever since Hikaru recovered from a mental breakdown, he had been causing chaos. And no, it was not Kaoru pretending to be him either.

Kazune almost drifted off if it wasn't for Kaoru coming in and dragging the half-asleep King out of the room.
"Hikaru's at it again. This time he's found a nice ceiling banister and won't come down. We can't get to him either." Kaoru dragged Kazune along before stopping before Haruhi and Kaiko.
They were both looking up at Hikaru who was perched right on the banister above.
"Please come down honey, I'm sure we can sort this out." Haruhi called up.
"No." Hikaru grabbed the beam tighter, his eyes changing from yellow to red. They had been doing that a lot.

Keya went into the tent for the third time this morning. Humes slept too much. It was already 5 am and Opal was still fast asleep in the tent they shared. "Thats it." Keya walked over to her and put a foot on her stomach, slowly increasing the preassure.

 

Xyam emerged amd looked up at Hikaru. " Oh dear god"

Hikaru got himself comfortable. "I'm not moving."
"Refusing to answer reason, ignorance, cockiness..." Kaoru started to list. "Oh, the eyes too. And how he got himself up there."
"Awh, COME ON KAORU! Don't you remember? You could wall bounce up the side of the Electricity Kingdom's state library and not been seen by the cameras. What happened to that?" Hikaru frowned.
"Hikaru, shut up before I pull your vocal cords out."
"What'cha gonna do next? Grab a stake and ram it through my heart?"

 

She just watched from a safe distance
