A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

He nodded wearily.

 

The game was about to finish.
"We gotta do this perfect to beat the record!" Kami exclaimed. She put her all into the final moves.

Nel was surprised. "How are you guys doing that?"

 

Kazune stood up. "C'mon. Lets get cake." He walked out, carrying Lawliet.

Lucas laughed, putting his all in.

"Doing what?" They both asked.
"You mean this?" Cid smirked, sliding behind a collum and appearing again behind a stack of boxes.

 

Xyam followed .

 

The game ended and the had passed the previous score by a long shot.
The crowds all clapped and cheered.
"We did it, Lucas!" Kami lunged at Lucas and hugs him tight.

Nel stood still and blinked.

 

Kazune walked into the kitchen and put Lawliet down in one of the chairs. Looking around, he pulled out the cake from one of the cupboards.

Lucas blinked, taken back slightly. Eventually, he hugged back.
Now. Darren smirked, starting to change Kami's memories of Alphonse to Lucas.

"It's a small Vampire trick." Cid grinned at her.

 

Xyam sat down next to him as he swang his legs.

 

Kazune cut a slice off it and gave it to Lawliet. "Bon appittete!"

 

Kami continued to hug him but started to feel strange.

"That's amazing." Nel smiled.

 

Lucas looked at Kami. "You okay?" He asked.
Darren finished and left Kami's shadow, heading back to the castle.

"Thank you." Cid smiled.
Tyson leaned over to Cid, whispering something in his ear.
Cid blinked, going red.

 

He scraped all the icing off the top and licked it off his fingers.

 

Kazune was doing the same, instead just licking it off straight from the cake.

 

Kami relaxed and blinked a few times. "I'm fine." She looked at him and smiled.

"Now why are you turning red?" Nel asked.

 

Lucas smiled back. "I think I'm starting to like 'video games'. What else is there?" He asked.

"Nothing! Nothing!" Cid smiled before frowning at Tyson. "That's me to know and you to never find out." He whispered back. "Don't YOU already have a mate?"
"Yeah, but her's ain't as big as Nel's." Tyson replied.

 

L stared at him then planted his entire face into the cake.

 

Kazune blinked and put down his slice, pulling Lawliet up. "Oh, Lawliet you cheeky rascal."

 

He grinned at him, cake covering his whole face.

 

Kazune wiped some icing from his face and ate it.

 

Xyam watched them smiled.

L still looked like he was wearing cake-coloured make-up.

 

Kazune wiped off all the icing, eating it too. "There. All better."
