A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

Opal took it happily and went up the bach to the carriage with him, her face beaming.

 

Abee got in behind Akaito and Kikaito and sat down. "How far away is Iron Town?"
"Not long." Luna smiled.

 

Opal grinned, sat down and sank down in her seat

 

The carriage started moving along the roads.
Luna sighed. "As you can tell, the floating continent has evoled, even in it's tiny size, far faster then our Kingdom. We still use carriages when your kind has evented carriages that fly called 'cars' and ships that fly called 'airships' or 'skybirds'. It's truely amazing."

 

Opal smiled, laid back further in her seat and shut her eyes.

 

Abee looked at Opal. "Opal? Are you okay?" He asked, prodding her cheek lightly.

 

She smiled but did not open her eyes.

 

"You sleepy? Jeez, why do girls have to sleep so much? It just makes me cranky if I sleep too much and it does nothing for the skin." Abee sighed, pulling away and rolling his eyes. He changed back to his original self.
Luna blinked, watching Abee change.

 

Opal laughed quietly, opened her eyes and looked at him.

 

"Welcome to the world, lazy arse." Abee smirked at her.

 

"I wasn't sleeping, just resting my eyes" Opal told him, streching out her arms.

 

"That's what old people say when they want to go to sleep but can't so they 'rest their eyes'. You're making yourself sound 30 years older." Abee crossed his arms.

 

Kami smiled back. "I love you, Alphonse."

Nek grabbed onto him tightly. "This is fun!"

 

Alphonse stopped and put Kami down in front of her bedroom door. "I love you too."

Cid nodded before starting to fly quickly. Stopping, he left himself fall outside of the forest and land. "Where to Nel?" He asked, looking at her.

 

Kami smiled more and hugged him.

Nel thought for a moment. "I really don't know. Remember, I am only 5."

 

Alphonse hugged back. "Aren't you gonna get changed?"

"In a 15 year old's body with a partial 15 year old's mind." Cid grinned. "How about..... I know." He started running along before flitting. Everything around went past like a blur.

 

"Ah. No, I wasn't doing that then" Opal said, trying to find I way out.

 

Abee smirked, watching her. "Yeah right."
"We're here."

 

Opal sighed in relief, "Great, I think. After you"

 

Luna pointed out the window. "There's the town."
Abee looked out to see a massive town. Around it was a lake and on the other side, treeless hills. "Woah.... I can imagine why they're attacking. The trees are gone and thats their home."
