A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

"He's my Butler. Came when I was only 12 and helped me ever since. You could say he's the Cheshire Cat to my Alice. But there are more ways to skin a cat with what you may see him as."

 

"I see." Kami looked towards outside. "Well since you're here, how about I show you around the kingdom. It's your first time and all."

 

Lucas nodded. "I would like that."
If it's a trip he's going on, then I'm coming too. Darren smirked, listening from behind Lucas; hidden in his shadow.

 

"Alrighty then." Kami walked towards her room. "Let's get changed first ad I'll meet you at the front gates."

 

Lucas put his hand on her shoulder. "I'll be waiting." He smiled before heading off in another direction. He exited the castle and headed towards the airship he came in.
"I still don't like him." Alphonse frowned, appearing by Kami. "He's too smiley. It's as if he's hiding something. Of course, Mister Smiles isn't a fuucking ray of shine all the time."

 

Kami turned to Alphonse. "No one said you have to like him. But he really is a nice guy, that is, if he hasn't changed in the years we've been apart." She hugged him. "Cheer up, okay? I promise everything will work out. And we can have our own date tonight."

 

"I'm being serious Kami! After you left, when I was confronting him for sticking his own nose in someone else's business, he tried to strangle me! His eye! It glowed purple and I was paralyzed! He lifted me from the freaking floor Kami without laying a finger on me! Even his butler stood away. Ask your parents, they'll know!" Alphonse protested then sighed. "But that date night does sound pretty good...."

"Take care of the incident before Darren." Lucas said, still walking along.
Darren nodded and disappeared, heading towards the throne room where Makato and Yuki were.

 

Kami looked at him, greatly concerned. "W-What? That doesn't sound right." She took a breath. "I'll take care of it. She got on her tiptoes and kissed him.

Makato sat at his throne, his hand on his palm.
Yukai sat next to him fidgetting ith her hands. "Are you sure we shouldn't interfer?"
"Certain."

 

Alphonse smiled, looking at her. Hugging her close, he kissed her.

Darren watched them from the shadows. Moving behind their thrones, he appeared; invisible to them. "Oh dear. Memories of my Master's power is a bad idea. Let's release you both of that burden." He started to twirl his finger around in the air, removing their memories of Lucas' attack and replacing it with Lucas and Alphonse simply talking.

 

Kami kissed back. Pullimg away slowly, she held him close. "I love you, Alphonse. That will never change."

Makato and Yukai sat frozen in place as their memories were changed.

 

Alphonse smiled, just happy in Kami's arms. "Never leave me."

Darren smirked as the change was complete. "Done."

 

Kami smiled as well. "I promise."

Yukai blinked an shook her head. "Huh?"
Makato closed his eyes. "I feel tired."

 

Darren smirked and left the room, going over to Alphonse. Hiding in his shadow, he started to change his memories.

"And if that prick tries to pull anything nasty then I'll strangle him like he strangled me." Alphonse grinned, laughing slightly. Suddenly he left strange. The memory of Lucas attacking him changed to them just talking.
"Done." Darren left, heading back to Lucas' side.
Alphonse blinked and looked at Kami.

 

Opal considered this, "Really? Well, it does fit since they are so alike. What's the connection though?"

 

Abee started to think. "umm...... I don't know.... Maybe they look like?"
"That's not 'deeper then blood' though." Luna sighed.

 

"Then what? Wait, wasn't there something about Kazune not being...um...human or something? I might have got that wrong but hat could have something to do with it." Opal said, thinking.

 

"Isn't.... human....? Is he a Demi-God?" Luna asked, confused.

 

"I don't know, like I said I probably got it wrong and was having a blonde moment" Opal said looking down.

 

"Blonde moment?" Luna raised an eyebrow.
"She means she was having a stupid moment." Abee smiled. "And yeah.... I think he said that he wasn't human..... Nobody was it?"
"That's it." Luna said. "Artemis said that he had a Nobody. And he was going to find him."

 

"So, I wasn't being stupid after all. That means Artemis is looking for Kazune" Opal smiled.
