A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

"I understand." Lucas replied, watching her go.
Alphonse carried on glaring at Lucas. "I can't believe this.... You HAD to come a ruin this all!" He shouted at Lucas.
Lucas simply watched Alphonse.
"I thought that my life could get better! But now with you and my family, my life is just a living hell!" Alphonse carried on.
"Alphonse, please try to control yourself."
"WHY SHOULD I LISTEN TO-" Alphonse froze, his eyes widened. His mouth was still open as if he was wanting to say something.
"I did warn you." Lucas replied, looking up at him. One of his eyes were bright purple with a gold star marked on it. "Listen here. I didn't know about you until today. I have no intention of taking Lady Kami away from you or to make your life harsh."

Makato watched the two.

 

"An eight year old boy in a seventeen year old's body.... An emotion chimerae too.... Interesting. He isn't human either. A demi-god to that fact." Lucas scanned Alphonse up and down before letting his grip go.
Alphonse dropped to the floor, coughing.
Lucas stood up. "I will retire to my room. If anyone needs me, don't hesitate to ask." He walked off, outta the room.
Darren followed after him.
Alphonse was left on the floor, holding his neck.

 

Kami sat in the hallway. Why does this day seem to be going this way...I wasn't expecting anything like this...and Alphonse...She covered her face.

 

Lucas walked along, stopping when he saw Kami.
Darren disappeared, leaving them alone.
Lucas walked over to her and crouched down next to Kami. "Lady Kami. Are you alright?"

 

Opal smiled in awe of the woman and looked at Abee for him to answer.

 

"Too many to count." Abee replied.
The woman sighed. "I..... I see. Please, come with us. And tell your friends up in the sky bird to come down with us. I'm sure you have machines that let you breathe underwater if you can't naturally."
"Hey, it's called an AIRSHIP. And those are called scubas." Akaito floated down in a full scuba diving kit.
Kikaito floated down next to him, a large bubble around him.
"Like I said before, being underwater plus Kikaito means he's in the shop for a week!"

 

Opal rolled her eyes and smiled. She watched the woman curiously.

 

Kami looked up at him. She glared slightly but then calmed down. "I'm fine. I apologize for my out burst." She stood up.

 

"Come." The woman turned, swimming away.
The guards swam after her quickly. It was obvious that they couldn't keep up.
Abee shrugged and swam after everyone with Akaito and Kikaito.

Lucas stood up. "I'm sorry for pestering Alphonse. But like I said, I hate information that regards me in some way not being said to me. I'm sure you feel the same way about that too."

 

Opal quickly swam after the Lady, wondering what was going to happen

 

Abee looked at Opal for awhile. Watching her, he then looked back at the woman.
"Luna." The woman replied. "Thats my name."
Abee nodded. "Luna, meaning moon. Makes sense due to that the moon controls the sea."
"Yes. But I'm only a tempory step-in for my husband."
"Really? Where is he?"

 

"Beautiful name" Opal muttered, "Your huspand?" She snapped back into focus and asked interested.

 

"His name is Artemis." Luna smiled, still swimming. "He's kind and gentle. But he had to leave. He had to stop the person who's commiting the child kidnappings."

 

"He sounds like a great person, you must be lucky to have him. Have you heard back from him since he went?" Opal enquired.

 

"He cannot send any kind of communication to me. If someone tracks it, he'll blow his cover and the peace on the floating continent." Luna replied, sighing. "But I miss him so. With him, he took our only son and eldest daughter. I fear for their lives but I'm sure that they won't die. Artemis would never let it."

 

"I'm sure they'll be fine, especially if Artemis is as good as you say. They'll do you proud. Still, can we help any way?" Opal smiled supportivly at her.

 

"If you see him, tell him that we're all waiting and cheering him on." Luna smiled, looking at Opal. "You'll know it's him when you meet him. He looks a lot different to what you might think."

 

Opal nodded smiling, "It would be an honor to do so"

 

Abee started to think. Come to think about it, the sea wyrm he had seen. The woman in front.... "Hey. Can he gain friendship over sea creatures?"
Luna nodded.
"Then... That woman....."
"Woman?" Luna started laughing. "Oh Artemis. Thought he could take a hair off a Sea Wyrm to stop his condition."
Abee raised an eyebrow.
"Artemis' hair. When cut off, it'll grow down to his lower back and stop. It'll always stay like that unless he has a hair from a dragon. Or Sea Wyrm."
