A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

Alphonse knelt next to her, hugging her. "Don't worry..... We'll get outta this somehow......"

"I won't." Cid kissed her cheek.

 

Kami continued to stare at the same area, tears flowing more rapidly. "H-How? My father doesn't approve of us."

Nel calmed down a bit. "I love you. I need you." She nuzzled into his chest.

 

"Somehow we will." Alphonse brushed away her tears.

Cid smiled at her. "Really?"

 

Kami looked down. "I really hope so. Arranged marriage...didn't even know that was still going on. The Electricity Kingdom has never done it."

Nel looked at him and nodded.

 

"Well, my sister is arranged to get married to Nigaito." Alphonse replied. "Don't worry. I'm sure your mother might see sense."

Lucas sighed slightly, sitting in a private airship to the Electricity Kingdom. Marrying the Electricity Princess, huh?
"Something bothering you, your highness?" Lucas' butler asked.
Lucas looked up and nodded.

Cid smiled more and kissed her.

 

"Oh yeah. I forgot about that." Kami turned to Alphonse. "Maybe you're right. She can talk to my dad. Course he might not listen."

Nel kissed him back.

 

"See?" Alphonse smiled.

Cid smiled at her.

 

Kami smiled back. Then she grinned. "Hee~ you looooove me~ But I'm arranged to marry someone I've never met~"

Makato sat on his thrown.
Yukai was walking by. "Oh. There you are."
"What time do we expect Lucas?"
"A simple hello to your wife wouldn't kill ya, ya know?"

Nel felt happy again. "So what's it like?"

 

"And thats a good thing about you marrying someone else, why?" Alphonse asked.

"What is wrong?"
"Suddenly having to marry Lady Kami..... and my eye is bothering me again...." Lucas looked out the window again.
"I thought it might be." The servant replied, rubbing the back of one of his gloved hands.

"What's what like?" Cid asked, raising an eyebrow.

 

Reese grabbed Kaida by the throat. "Where is Alphonse!?"

 

Kaida didn't even flinch. "I told you, that was last time I saw him. He could have left or be in a different part of the castle."

 

Reese called some guards over. "Find Alphonse. Do whatever it takes to bring him to me ALIVE. I see one hair out of place on his little head, and i'll make you all wish you were never born. GO!"

The guards ran off.

 

Kami kissed him. 'I was just teasing you for what you did earlier."

Makato rolled his eyes. "Hello, Yukai."
"That's better." Yukai smiled. "He should be arriving soon. But- are you really sure you want to go through with this? What about Kami?"

"To be a vampire?' Nel asked.

 

Kaida watched the guards run off. "He might have even gone to the Electricity Kingdom or Water Kingdom. Kami is in the Electricity Kingdom and Sapphira is in the other."

Alphonse smiled, kissing back. "Lets just hope that King Bossy-Fancy-Pants doesn't find us like this then." He smiled.

"Something different is here. I don't like it." Lucas frowned, scanning the Kingdom below.
"I can feel it too your majesty." The butler replied.
Lucas looked over at the butler. "Please Shan. You've been with me for too long just to keep referring me to my title. Call me LUCAS and I'll call you Darren."
Darren nodded, sitting back slightly and crossing his legs. "I'm your butler. I HAVE to act like this Lucas."

"Apart from flitting, better senses, different eye colour and bloodlust every so often, not much different to being human really." Cid replied.

 

Xyam turned off the fairy lights and fell asleep.

 

Kami smiled and pulled Alphonse into the garden, locking the door behind them.

Makato sighed. "It must be done. Don't try to convince me otherwise."
Yukai stared at him. "But you know that she loves Alphonse."
Makato didn't reply.

Nel smiled. "Sound great either way."

Light drifted in the water, fast asleep.

Alphonse smiled at Kami.

Lucas rolled his eyes. "Thats only your-"
"We're landing." Darren pointed out.
Lucas looked out the window to see them landing in the castle airdock. "Woah..... So much technology...... Nothing like back at home...." He frowned slightly.
Darren simply smirked. "Shouldn't you get changed?"
Lucas blinked and nodded. "Yes. Can I have some privacy please?"
Darren stood up and stepped outside the room, shutting the door behind him.

"Except for that Vampires tend to come out at night because then they don't get chased away from frightened people." Cid pointed out.

 

Kami lunged at Alphonse haappily and started kissing him again.

Yukai looked away.
A servant walked in. "Your Majesty. Prince Lucas has arrived."

"Well it still sounds great and you hide it really well." Nel hugged him.
