A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

"Is something wrong?" Kami asked.

Nel blinked again. "You're starting to freak me out.."

 

"They look so happy together." Light smiled, watching Dexter, the vixen and the cubs playing around together.

"How?"
"I don't know. Dad..... Dad just turned evil. He came back then something took over him. Mom's with him, hopefully keeping him at bay." Alphonse replied. "Listen Sapphira, where are you?"
"Just about to head home, I'm still with Nigaito."
"STAY there. God help you if Dad finds you. You'll be safe there." Alphonse frowned.
"Okay. Bye...."
Alphonse shut his phone. "Hopefully she'll stay there...."

"Its NOTHING to do with age this time. I'm 15, you're 15. It adds up fine." Cid grinned at her, stopping laughing. "Nobodies aren't really allowed to be with Somebodies because one has a heart and the other doesn't. Vampires can't be with Nobodies or Humans because technically, it's food all the same. It has blood, its food."

 

"They're so graceful" she smiled at them.

Light watched Xyam, blinking. Suddenly his eyes changed as blue as the sea and his hair started to swirl around like he was underwater.

 

Kami placed her hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure she'll be okay."

"Nobodies? Somebodies? Vampires? What on earth are you talking about?" Nel kept her eyes on him.

 

"Yeah..... If not then I'm kicking Nigaito's ass." Alphonse replied.

"Your Dad is a Nobody. He is a person without a heart. Your Mom is a Somebody. She is a person WITH a heart. You are.... a hybrid. A mix of someone with and without a heart. I can't tell properly right now. But me?" Cid smirked. "Am a vampire. I'm sure you can go down to the library and look them up."

 

"Hmm?" she stared at him.

 

Light started to glow and he aged up to an 18 year old. "I really hate being a 8 year old. I feel so restrained to everything I can do."

 

Kami smiled slightly. "Why would you do that?"

Nel stayed quite.

 

OOC: 1 advantage immediatly springs to mind...

BIC: She shrugged and looked back out the window.

 

"Because Nigaito has to protect her as her future husband." Alphonse smirked.

"Go on then." Cid stood up. "Actually...." He walked over to a bookshelf a brought out a book. Flicking it open, he held it out at one page, handing it to Nel.

Light looked over at Akuji. "I wonder if she'll remember everything."

 

"who knows?"

 

"And that's why you want to beat him up?" Kami smiled more an shook her head.

Nel took the book and looked at it.

 

"Yeah....." Light yawned.

"Pretty much." Alphonse grinned at her.

The book had tons of notes about vampires and such.
"But you wanna know something? That book is wrong, wrong, WRONG!" Cid smirked, pulling the book away and throwing it acorss the room over his shoulder. "Holy water, crosses and garlic DON'T hurt us, garlic just offends out senses because of our strong sense of smell. Sunlight can't kill us, only give us a tan then sunburn which is horrible. We can roam around day and night but we prefer night when less people are around and we can see better. We don't drink to kill. Only take as much as we need."

 

"Do you want to go to sleep?"

 

"I do but I won't." Light replied.

 

"You meano." Kami nudges him.

Nel was surprised. "Are you serious?

She shrugged.

"Yes. Yes I am." Alphonse smiled before grabbing Kami and kissing her.

"Absolutely. OH! We can't change into bats either." Cid looked at her.

Light looked at her. "Its odd for me to not sleep underwater."

 

Kami smiled and kisses him back.

Nel blinked. "What a shame. I wanted to keep you as a pet." She laughed.
