A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

L was now fast aslep.

 

Matt had fallen asleep too.
"How do you know that?" Light asked.
"Akuji remembers it from somewhere." Akuji replied.

 

Xyam took L off her shoulders and cuddled him.

 

"....." Light frowned.

 

She put L down next to her and sat near the window.

 

Akuji yawned and started to fall asleep.

 

Xyam stared at the sky.

 

Akuji had fallen asleep, lying on Lawliet.
Light looked over at Xyam. "Do you miss Kazune?"

 

"Yeah" she said quietly.

 

"You're okay. You know that he's coming back. But.... I don't know if I'll ever go home. I wanna see my real mother again. I wanna see all my friends, my sisters, everyone." Light sighed.

 

"I don't see why you can't go home" she was still staring out the window.

 

"Because if I go home before we stop Mitsuki, we'll be seen as failures." Light replied. "Dad is determined to stop her madness. It happened on our world and we're still recovering, finding lost children with bandages still."

 

"Don't you think your dad can do it?"

 

"He did before.... But that was when he had a whole Kingdom under his control. Now he's just alone. No help from Mother, our guards, anyone except for me who really knows whats happening." Light replied.

 

"How did he lose an entire kingdom?"

 

"He didn't loose it, he left. He's still the King, mother is taking his place for now." Light replied. "He said that we won't come back until Mitsuki has been stopped."

 

Kami held Alphonse tight. She didn't say a word.

Josie rolled her eyes. "Just drop it, okay?"

Nel gasped and hel him tightly. "C-Cid! You can fly!?!"

 

Reese laughed. "I'm okay, but you won't be."

 

"ahh, well until then it looks like we both have something to miss" she smiled at him.

 

Alphonse looked up at Kami. "I need to make sure my sister is safe."

"Fine..... But, can't you use magik? That normally says where you're from." Katie pointed out.

"I'm just heating up the air around us to make us float." Cid shut his eyes smiling. He opened them again, looking at Nel. His eyes were bright yellow.

"I know. I'd rather die then run from you. Because I love you." Kaida still held onto him.

"Yeah..... Ugh, now I'm starting to wonder WHY I wanted fishsticks. I refuse to eat any fish or meat. Its disgusting killing another animal just for food." Light pulled a face.
