Jessica nodded, looking over at Stormy. She must've been able to use fire, the way that Josiah had been talking and looking at her. The ocean was fairly her enemy. She hated water with a passion, and she shuddered.
"Not a fun place for people who can't swim either," she said softly to herself, not really caring who heard her or not.

 

"Like you?" He asked, looking only at the map, but could hear her loud and clear like she was speaking normally. He smirked, not looking at her.

 

She flushed, as the redness flowed through her cheeks.
"Perhaps," she said softly, her eyes gleaming at his.

Bic: Josiah smirked. "Perhaps what?" He looked at her now.

Jessica blinked her eyes a few times. Her eyes dimming every time her eyes closed, until they were almost a black red.
"Perhaps, I don't know how to swim. I've never been in water, other than bathing....," she said, finishing her sentence. She looked away from his eyes. Hers were becoming more poisonous to herself. The more she felt them dim, the more her headache throbbed in her head.

 

Stormy walked over softly around, seeing the two Vampires glance at eachother. She stepped between them, looking over at the new girl, saying, "I'm Stormy. Josiah is just annoying." She said, looking back down at the others, when she wasn't to tall, and moved the ground, making her taller, getting her taller by the ground underneath them.

Corentine felt the wind brush against her, and she smiled a bit. "So to the Island we go!" She said, sounding excited. She stood up, looking towards the others. She jumped up, and wind catching her, as she made a round ball around herself. She smiled a big, whide, smile; raising up higher.

Josiah sighed. "C'mon, lets get you to sit down, can't have you fainting on us." He held out his hand to her, wanting her to take it to move her to a chair. Too bad that had to wait, Stormy and Corentine were going to want to go now. "I'm annoying?"

Jessica nodded at Stormy.
"It's.... a pleasure..to meet you," she struggled. It was amazing, her scent. It made her tongue tingle slightly, and her eyes flashed pure black. Her pupils dilated outward, and the thirst for her blood was now in her mind. She shook her head, trying to calm down away from her 'need'. She put her hand over her face, to block out the scent. It was so rosey, and so calming. She hadn't smelled this floaral smell in quite some time. She wanted to attack, and to at least try... but she didn't want to be any more of a monster than she was.

 

Josiah sighed again. "And is that a problem with your needs? Stormy, mind going out for a bit? Seems I need to talk with little Ms. Vampire here, a thing about control on her needs." He looked at Jessica.

 

She closed her eyes and shook her head. She breathed in slightly, letting the smell intoxicate her mind.
"No... it's nothing, i just..need to go and... 'hunt'," she breathed slowly again. It made her head dizzy. It felt like a drug, like something shed never tried. Like she'd smoked a cigarette and gotten a nicotine rush....She shook her head again, trying to get the smell out.

 

Josiah sighed, he put his hands over her shoulders. "I'll take her, you guys go on ahead, we'll be with you in a few." He looked at them, walking with her out of the shop.

 

Jessica held her hand up to her head and took a deep breath.
"My my..she smell's so good" she hissed, closing her eyes. She could feel the faint dizziness approaching her, clouding up her mind.
"Let me rest a minute," she gasped, then sat against the wall on the ground. She let the cold wind chill her, which made her feel a little less faint.

 

Josiah looked at her, sitting next to her. "I'm a vampire too if you haven't yet noticed...?" He smirked. "Josiah...and your's is?"

 

She breathed slowly, almost in tears.
"I noticed," she answered his first response. her head still clouded and she clenched her hands and gritted her teeth.
"Jessica," she responded to his question. Her eyes stayed pure black, and it burned to look away from her 'prey'. She didn't want to consider someone living, her prey, only animals. She would make the next animal she looked at her next target. The burning desire no longer fueled her body, but now her throat, as it dried and ached for a scent now.

 

Josiah sighed and pulled out a squirrle, still alive but barely breathing. "Well, drink up, you'll need it." He handed it to her.

 

She didn't want to ask where he got the squirrel, but she nodded, holding the squirrel in her granite hands. She wanted to rip it's head off, to be so..destructive and fierce with it. She held the animal up to her lips, and pulled out her teeth, sinking it into the animal's neck. She felt the animal stiffen underneath her, and she started sucking around the fur on it's neck, feeling the burn in her dry throat relieved and she could feel the raw taste of blood. It wasn't as satisfying as the scent off Stormy, but it was better than taking her forcefully and killing her. She felt the last drop of blood leave the animal and she pulled away, finding the will to throw it in the trashcan in front of them. She shuddered.
"Thanks," she mumbled, still in her hunt mode. She wiped her lips, and felt her eyes change back to the crimson red they were earlier. Her hunt was over.

 

He smirked and put his hand on her shoulder. "So tell me, why do you like her scent? Too good for ya?"

 

She shrugged, feeling the need for a cigarette, but she would try to stop now. She was used to hunting then smoking a whole pack, but it was now in her best interest to stop.
"It's so...floral and.. rosey.. You don't know...how bad i wanted.. to just attack her and..kill her. I've never wanted.....blood so bad in a while," she winced. She looked at the blood on her hands from the animal. She must've been sloppy about her gain. She shook it off her hands and pulled a cloth fro,m her pocket, wiping her hands on it.

 

"You're not the only one..." He looked away, annoyed at the fact by her approval of her point of view. "I too know what you mean..."

 

"I would say so... You look a pretty fair age to have come across great scents," she said. She didn't want to sound as if she knew much more than he had, but to just let him know the experience. For someone to have wanted her to stay, he seemed to be annoyed at her. She scoffed and felt anger rise in her again.
