    Butterfly

Enjoy people...oh I would have posted this sooner if my mum hadn't made me clean my room

    Going where ever it please
    Flying with wings of silk
As I watch one fly by
I can not help but feel
    Like a child once more
As I long to be free
    Just like a butterfly

What can I say but awesome! I think everyone would love to escape reality and fly away at some point. You've captured it perfectly.

    Old poems

Okay when I was cleaning my room I found this book so I looked in it and it had my 12th to 18th poems in it so here they all are some old poems I did in '05
    Hope you like them people

    Every lasting

    When did time begin?
    Will it ever end?
    Where does the sky start?
    Does it ever end?
Only one thing is known to start and end
And that is the story of our lives

    Land, Sea, Wind and Fire

The land and the sea meet each other
But they are not the same
The sea and wind combines their powers
But they don’t have a thing in common
The wind helps the fire to grow
    But they are not alike
    The fire warms the land
But they’ll never don’t have the same mind
    They may help each other
But they are not the same

    Emotion change

    Emotions change like the weather
One minute it’s calm like the sunny spring days
The next it is as harsh as the ice on a cold winters day
But the best emotion in the world is…
Love like the sun setting in to the sea

    Restless nights

    Restless night lying in bed
    Waiting to fall asleep
Looking out in to the darkness
    Hoping to rest
    Drip...drip rain starts to fall
    Hard and loud
    Eyes now closed
So all they see in black
    Now asleep
    But still restless
    Hoping now to dream

    Restful nights

Lying in bed waiting to sleep
    One, two, three, now asleep
Four, five, six, now in deep sleep
Seven eight, nine, dreaming the night away
Ten, now awake in the new day

    Saying good bye

Saying good bye is the hardies word
If it means we’ll never meet again
    But just because you’re gone
Doesn’t mean you’re not here with me
    You’re always in my heart
    So you’re also with me
    Even when you’re gone

I really loved all the poems. The last one made me really sad. I suppose it's because I've lost people close to me.

    A friends poem (not mine)

Okay this is a poem my friend wrote when she was 12 but didn’t like it so when I read it and asked if I could re-word it and she said yes, the top one is her version and the bottom one is my version. Remember she was only 12 when she wrote this and she’s 17 now, so all in all don’t really comment me on this poem since it’s not mine

Why is the wind against the wind?
What if the earth was two even pieces?
The land is a dead thing we walk on.
    We only have one love
    So believe it

Why does the wind go against its self?
What if the earth was two even pieces?
Is the land that we walk on dead?
We only have one love for everything
    So believe it

    Snow

Okay so last night where I live it was snowing so I came up with this poem enjoy

How can something so beautiful be so cold?
Falling from the sky like frozen rain
As it falls on to my skin
Making it cold and white as it’s self
Closing my eye and facing the sky
    From where the snow falls
‘How can something to beautiful be so cold?’

    In a daze

Man I can't believe how many poems i have written over the last few week but anyways here is my newies one I worte to day

    Sitting there in a daze
Lost in a world of my own
I can hear what you’re saying
Even thought I am in a daze
It is not hard to get me out of my daze
But I will act like I am still there
    And not here

That was truly beautiful. Snow is both stunning and savage, as many have found. I love standing outside when it's snowing, just like in your poem.

I loved it. A perfect description of someone so lost in thought that they seem unaware of their surroundings. I'm a habitual daydreamer, so I really appreciated the poem.

    Rain

    Rain

Laying in bed late at night
Listening to the rain hit my window
As it falls faster down to the ground
    Everything out there is wet
But hearing the sound of rain falling
Is like listening to soft music

...It wasn't even raining when I wrote this does was it late at night it was when I was at college ha ha
