    War is a scale

    It's bad because obviously it can ruin lives and destroy countries and ****

    It's amazing because war is the reason plastic surgery is around, it was used to treat soldiers who's faces and stuff was burned off, and with that developments advanced to make metallic plates to replace dysfunctional bones or soemthing, help treat tumors and it also helped the creation of better drugs and anastetics to reduce pain from war wounds which are now used in today's cases.

    It's also developed technology such as sonar and other stuff.

    Normally I'm against war... but when we're fighting (America) against people who believe their purpose in life to annihilate us before they die, I can see damn well why we fight against them. However most of it is over other then rebuilding Iraq (which I don't think we should do...), but that's my opinion. As for wars like Vietnam, yes, I agree it was nothing we should have gotten into.

    That's a social perspective. There are some that saw the events of 9/11 as a product of patriotism. When war becomes political there's no definitive good or bad.
