There are Namine Auditions so they are getting new voice actors?

 

Do you have to be american to audition? cause to be honest i think onli America accents will sound right and im english n my accent is nothing like the posh accent on Harry Potter.

...no. This is a fandub. The auditions are for forum users to play roles in dubbing Japanese scenes and teasers as they come out. It's just good fun.

 

Any good roles that need to be filled...? O_o

Hey! I was just wondering if any roles are still available for some male characters? I was also wondering if someone could listen to some voice acting by me in different characters? I need to get some Kingdom Hearts fans' opinions on who I sound like the most. None of my friends are very big Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy fans, so I can't get an very good set of opinions! T_T Oh well... I guess that's what KH-Vids is for! :P

I could do DiZ, Cloud, or maybe, (stress on "maybe"), Riku. I really don't have any accurate ideas on who I would be good doing. That is why I want some of you to hear my voice and give me your opinions!

No, just do your best.
I'm not going to say that someone can't audition because of an accent.
There was one audition by someone British. Turns out the audition was very strong.

 

Cmon, Im scandinavian :D And I think Im gonna audition for Riku. Lol, my favorite character..

Probably asked before, but what's a good free program to record audio, specifically voice, for this such fandub?

 

You can record your lines by using Windows sound recorder or audacity.

Sound Recorder: Comes with all Windows.
Access this by the start menu. Now look under the accessories section. The sound recorder could just be laying in the accessories folder, but if not then go through the entertainment folder in the accessories section and it should be in there.

Audacity: It's a free program. It does not come with Windows. It's a bit more advance then the sound recorder. You can easily find it by searching google. Just type in the search bar "download audacity".

 

I've used Sound Recorder before, and Audacity looks to be a bit better. I'll try that. Thanks for the support.

 

I use Audacity. It's free, and it's really easy to use. It might be only for Mac computers though... I'm not sure... but if you have a Mac, then you should definitely get it.

 

Nope, Audacity works on Windows too. otherwise, I second this completely.

 

Fan Dub Software...?

Anyone know what software I should use to take the voices out of a video, yet keep all of the other audio, (sound effects, music, etc.)? I would appreciate it!

Not possible, unless you have the original audio tracks, which we don't. Square has them. The best we can do is re-implement music and sound effects with the fandubbing and hope it sounds close to the original.
