Jason continued to look around for his keys. Under his doormat, his plants, and even resorting to ripping out his grass. "Damnit. I'm gonna have to stay with someone tonight." He pulled out his cellphone and began scrolling through names to see who would let him stay over.

 

Alexis went to Sam's house... and knock on it

 

Jessica was showering when she heard a knock. She got out and pulled a towel around herself, running down the stairs. She was afraid to answer.
"Who is it?" she asked.

 

Sam went to his door and answered it. "Yes? Can I help you?"

 

"Oh hello, my name is Alexis. I live just next door. I recently moved here and i thought it would to be a good idea to introduce myself," She smiled sweetly.

 

Jessica smiled.
"Umm. I'm Jessica. I'm in the middle of a shower, I'll be done in a minute" she said nervously, then ran upstairs to finish up.

 

"I'm Sam." he said. "Nice to meet you Alexis."

 

"Likewise," She said. "Oh by the way.. I'm a vampire," She started laughing.

 

He laughed. "Good one." he said. "You'd better be careful Alexis, there are strange creatures lurking around. They almost got my Jessica."

 

"Don't worry about me. I can take care of myself," She said. "I better be going, seems like your girlfriend is getting ready for something, so I won't interrupt anymore." She walked away.

 

He was confused by her comment. What could she mean, she's getting ready for something? he thought.

 

Jessica got finished and dried off softly, putting on some looser clothes.

 

Sam shut and locked the door again and went up to his room.

 

Jessica first put on her bra and underwear, then walked into Sam's room.
"I can't find my loose gray shirt i left here," she said

 

He saw her like that and blushed a little. "I think it's still being washed." he said.

 

She sighed and sat on the bed, wrapping her arms around herself.
"It's freezing," she said.

 

Jason scrolled down the names in his phone and finally stopped on Sam. Quickly dialing his number he waited for an answer on the other end of the call.

 

He went to hug her, but his phone rang. He picked it up and said "Hello, this is Sam."

 

"Hey man it's Jason. Listen I can't find my house keys anywhere and some psycho jumped me today. So if you don't already have anything going on you mind if I crash there today?" Jason said quickly turning his back to check for movement.

 

"Well, I kinda have my girlfriend over." he said.
